    HR Business Partner - OTC

    Job Purpose

    • Create a positive employee experience through delivery of efficient and effective HR services, practices, and procedures.
    • Along with Senior HRBP, act as a consultant to Business Leaders and employees on all HR matters.

    Key Accountabilities

    Support the business in developing a strong performance culture

    • Implement the performance management process, ensuring compliance across business units.
    • Promote ongoing performance management by ensuring that regular performance discussions take place.

    Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

    • Provide recruitment support by managing the recruitment, selection, and placement process in line with the company’s policy
    • Manage onboarding processes, e.g., communication of new joiners, arranging for work tools, office space etc. and HR induction

    Human Resources Administration

    • Manage the capturing of HR information and data into the HR system and assure the integrity of data.
    • Provide advice and information to business leaders and employees on HR policies and procedures and address all HR queries within agreed timelines.
    • Manage terminations and exit interviews.

    Key Accountabilities

    HR Initiatives

    • Drive HR initiatives and projects.
    • Reinforce Policies & Practices – Promptly escalate and assist to resolve issues.
    • Implement Wellness initiatives.
    • Partner with COE to implement processes/projects/initiatives.

    Employee Relations

    • Provide advice to managers on disciplinary and grievance matters and support with investigations.
    • Handle logistics for disciplinary, grievance and performance hearings/meetings.
    • Support the execution of labour practices and policies within the business unit

    Learning and Development

    • Support in the TRB process - participate in discussions with business leaders, collating data and information in a talent deck
    • Support to identify the learning and development needs and facilitate implementation of relevant programs

    Criteria

    • You must be a SA citizen between the ages of 18 – 28
    • Must be able to communicate in English (read, write and speak)
    • Achieve a minimum overall aggregate of 70% for the most recent year completed

    • Continued funding is on condition that the funded student maintains a 70% aggregate for each year. The funding will not automatically be renewed, therefor bursary recipients will have to reapply every year.

    Bursary Holder Responsibilities

    • On Completion of studies, all Cipla Funded students are required to apply to the Cipla Graduate Programme.
    • Vacation work - CIPLA funded students may be expected to work at CIPLA during specified vacations. This will be communicated and negotiated in advance with the relevant student.

    Bursary Purpose

    • CIPLA Medpro South Africa Pty (Ltd) is awarding bursaries to students who are studying towards a qualification at an accredited PUBLIC tertiary learning institution.
    • CIPLA bursaries are awarded to academically astute students registering for their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. year of studies in 2025.
