    Role Purpose:

    • To drive business change that delivers value through the structured implementation and delivery of projects against time, resource, money and scope constraints.

    Are you someone who can:

    • Give input to the development of the project budget
    • Monitor project resources and spend against agreed budget
    • Report on project spend throughout the project as agreed
    • Build relationships that allow for the managing of expectations; the sharing of knowledge and diverse insights; and the creation of buy-in
    • Engage in cross-functional relationships to obtain and to provide work support
    • Compile and maintain relevant project documentation in accordance with agreed project procedures and methodologies to effectively support project delivery as well as comply with audit requirements
    • Report on project progress at agreed intervals in accordance with agreed templates and formats
    • Provide additional supporting reporting as identified and required, for example risk analysis and reports, etc
    • Follow a predetermined project approach to progress through the relevant project phases, for example, initiation, analysis, design, build, etc.
    • Drive and report on project milestones and deliverables
    • Escalate any issues and risks identified for resolution
    • Follow change control procedures and manage projects according to identified standards and identified operating practices
    • Conduct a project close out and provide input into ongoing benefit realisation tracking
    • Handover "after project" tasks and responsibilities as identified in the project plan, for example, production support, system performance management, etc.
    • Develop and implement a change plan for the project
    • Ensure that the most applicable communications are applied throughout the delivery of the project
    • Ensure that adequate training is provided to the relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the change initiated
    • Take full responsibility for performance management of all direct reports managing their performance in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives focusing on all aspects of sound people management
    • Engage in recruitment development, performance management, remuneration and rewards, career path planning, on the job training, coaching, and mentoring
    • Ensure appropriate levels of management and accountability
    • Motivate, delegate, and empower appropriately, enabling direct reports to take responsibility and display appropriate creativity and initiative
    • Work with the team to actively grow their skills and lead them in operational excellence.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in legal, Risk, Compliance
    • Relevant 3 year degree
    • 3 - 6 years work experience in a Compliance role
    • Financial Services experience preferred

    • Collaborate with FirstRand brand and marketing stakeholders to establish KPI’s and metrics to assess the effectiveness of employer branding initiatives
    • Enablement of critical skills mapping/pipelining with regards to designing processes and standards, conducting research and benchmarking
    • Manage and design effective and shared talent databases and reporting capability, in partnership with People Data and Analytics
    • Lead the exploration and integration of AI, machine learning, and digital platforms to optimise talent sourcing and identification processes
    • Develop talent sourcing practices, lead innovation, and design standards and tools that support FirstRand’s talent objectives, improve direct sourcing and optimize candidate reach, including the creative and effective application of an appropriate mix of platforms.
    • Thought leadership, research and benchmarking leading Talent Attraction and Talent Management practices, frameworks and market trends.
    • Leverage global talent market intelligence to inform long-term workforce planning and talent strategies, ensuring competitive positioning in key talent markets.
    • Build Talent Analytics and channel optimisation capability across the group, primarily through HC Business Partners and Talent Acquisition/Talent Management Partners, in order to achieve and continually improve Talent Attraction/Talent Management outcomes, in line with key business capabilities and delivery of strategic objectives.
    • Act as a liaison between Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Human Capital, and business leaders to ensure alignment of talent insights with broader organisational strategies
    • Contribute to a culture of data driven talent decisions, supporting business objectives to attract, select and retain high performing, value-aligned talent.
    • Use data to understand demand and drive key hiring decisions, and use performance reporting and key metrics to drive the performance of the effectiveness of talent attraction channels
    • Generates insights from Talent Analytics to inform policy and implementation decisions, and measure ROI and effectiveness of programs.
    • Influence the future and critical skills strategy for the business.

    Qualification:

    • Relevant degree in Data science/ Applied behavioural science/ Actuarial science
    • Proficiency with data analytics tools and advanced Excel skills are highly advantageous
    • Experience integrating talent analytics to drive diversity and inclusion is a plus

    Data Analyst

    Job Description

    • To understand the various data sources, how the data flows through the organization and provide expertise and support through translating business needs into tangible solutions by analyzing data, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending improvements to data pipelines, data quality, metadata, master and reference data, data access management.
    • Understand data sources and map to target systems/ solutions.
    • Provide transformation rules to Data Engineers.
    • Understand business rules and requirements to solve specific use cases.
    • Ensure that process conforms to business objectives and complies with Group Information Architecture.
