Requirements
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

- 1-year heavy vehicle driver experience
- Experience within an agricultural environment will be an advantage
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Ensure that all deliveries, logistics and the administration thereof are executed professionally and efficiently
- Perform daily inspections on the vehicle to ensure the roadworthiness of the vehicle
- Assist with stock counts and ensure that all stock on the vehicle is well maintained and managed
- Assist with loading and offloading of stock
- Complete logbook daily, report delays and incidents/irregularities to line manager
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
- Valid Code 10 – C1 Driver’s License with PDP license
- Knowledge of environment

- Registered Wireman’s Licence - Category 2: Installation Electrician

- Maintain an up-to-date list of critical spares, procure and manage spare parts and stock on emergency spares
- Conduct regular inspections and repairs of equipment and machinery to prevent mechanical and electrical breakdowns
- Oversee the speedy repairs of unplanned breakdowns
- Manage the planned preventative maintenance program by accurately documenting preventative inspections and recommending the replacement and/or repairs of equipment and machinery
- Recruit and appoint competent employees, manage performance and resolve grievances, conflict and disciplinary issues in line with applicable HR policies.
- Manage and control the plant's budget
- Monitor and prevent food safety risks in work areas, ensure food safety awareness and report non-conforming products
- Ensure health and safety are maintained in accordance with relevant legislation and company policy

- Minimum 3 years post trade certificate work experience as a Fitter / Millwright / Boilermaker
