    Product Manager - Boksburg

    Key Performance Areas

    • Help grow business through introducing and development of new product groups
    • Achieve revenue and margin targets
    • Build relationships, coordinate, and manage activities between the suppliers, procurement, warehouse, sales admin, outbound logistics and distribution network
    • Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure competitiveness
    • Manage stock levels
    • Draw up and achieve budget by product groups
    • Develop and update marketing plan and catalogues
    • Manage profitability of product groups
    • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
    • Achieve individual Balanced Scorecard and KPIs
    • Effective self-management and performance ownership
    • Adherence to any reasonable instruction
    • Optimize parts department processes 

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    Minimum Qualification

    • Grade 12
    • A relevant degree/diploma/certificate would be advantageous

    Minimum Experience

    • 5-7 years knowledge and experience in the HAKO parts aftermarket business
    • Technical product knowledge
    • Inventory management
    • Good track record in Cleaning industry an advantage

    Product Support - Bellville

    Key Performance Areas

    • Achieve monthly target for customer work.
    • Ensure work In Progress (WIP) is below 45 days.
    • Customer visits - target customers (min 20 visits per month)
    • Achieve gross profit on customer work at 40%
    • Manage Big Truck Technicians
    • Ensure services are up to date on units under the portfolio.  
    • Generate service quotes when necessary.
    • Ensure that Technicians are productive.
    • Conduct machine audits and assessments
    • Ensure contract profitability.
    • Manage loss-making contracts.
    • Ensure customer retention and obtain new customers.
    • Conduct vehicle inspections for Technicians at least once a month
    • Manage Non-Productive Labour (NPL)
    • Quoting foreign machines and equipment
    • Actioning failed load test on units 100% within the time given.
    • Service must be completed 100%
    • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    Minimum Qualification

    • Grade 12
    • Are you qualified in relevant trade? (e.g., Diesel Mechanic)

    Minimum Experience

    • 3 – 5 years in a similar role
    • Selling experience within the material handling equipment industry
    • Experience in leading and managing staff

    Techncian - Durban

    Key Performance Areas

    • Carry out maintenance & repairs as per Hyster standards/BHBW requirements.
    • Understand and implement preventative maintenance.
    • Identify and target opportunity for customer work.
    • Fault finding
    • Assemble IC and Electric machines in accordance with BHBW and Hyster standards.
    • Fit Telematics black boxes to the machines
    • Assist with the loading and unloading of containers.
    • Partake in new machine stock take as and when required.
    • Complete the PDI process and sign off new machines.
    • Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures
    • Quickly and efficiently diagnose machine systems and carry out repairs, services, and maintenance on forklifts on customer sites or at BHBW site.
    • Ensure services are done on time and as per schedule - achieve 95% completion rate.
    • Provide mentorship to apprentices assigned to you.
    • Maintain professional image when representing BHBW.
    • Control own admin (labor booking, service reports, part returns, expenses etc.)
    • Work In Progress - no jobs open for more than 7 days.
    • Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained.
    • Maintain a safe working environment (according to safety policy and procedures)
    • Adherence to any reasonable instruction

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    Minimum Qualification

    • Grade 12
    • Qualified in relevant trade (e.g., Diesel Mechanic/Auto electrical)
    • Driver’s license – Code B
    • Valid forklift license

    Minimum Experience

    • Do you have experience on working of forklifts and earth moving equipment?
    • Do you have 3-4 years’ experience in the same position?

    • Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
    • Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
    • Technical report writing
    • Basic business and financial understanding
