    Market Access Manager Africa Biofire

    The Africa Region is looking for a Market Access Manager biofire Africa. He/She will manage the market access activities for the company’s IVD products (Molecular Diagnostics), with a specific focus on pricing and reimbursement, together with a key role in the decision support activity – delivering analyses for transversal strategic initiatives of the company, within the company’s Global Marketing. The successful candidate will report directly to the Africa Marketing Director.

    What will be your responsibilities?

    Market access’ side:

    • Centralize the market access expertise at a global level regarding IVD products (Molecular Diagnostics) with a specific focus on pricing and reimbursement, linked with health technology assessment  (HTA) activities
    • Provide upper management with recommendations regarding the optimal pricing strategies for existing products and services and also reimbursement strategies for the company’s innovative products
    • Benchmark on competitive approaches of market access for innovative IVD products
    • Build and manage a network of market access experts to keep up-to-date regarding market access evolutions (regulatory changes, new policies, stakeholders mapping…)
    • Build and manage a network of external agencies able to perform market access studies on a global scale

    Decision support’s side:

    • Lead high level analyses related to the company’s transversal strategic initiatives, so as to support the decision-making process 
    • Present these analyses in the most impacting format: straight-to-the-point oral presentations, visual PowerPoint presentations, or other relevant formats

    Who are you?

    • Master degree in a science/business-related field, with 5 years minimum experience in strategic marketing and market access in the healthcare industry (preferentially within Molecular Diagnostics). A knowledge of the IVD/Clinical market, customers and the company’s business
    • Successful track record of interacting closely with Global and Regional functions (Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing, Business Development, R&D and Projects…)
    • International experience is a must
    • Fluency in English is required

    • Strong leadership skills to convince, persuade, obtain an audience adhesion ; Team spirit; Analytical and synthetic mindset / Sense of time and priorities management
    • Good communication and presentation skills and ability to deliver complex information into a simplified manner for different audiences 
    • Ability to deep-dive into technical topics and to deliver high-level and easy to understand analyses 
    • Knowledge of methodological tools for strategic analyses linked to a true business oriented mindset

    Industry Business Manager

    Your main mission will be to represent bioMérieux Industry in the country and be responsible for designing, managing, and executing the commercial operation strategy for the territory with full Industry P&L responsibility

    What will be your mission?

    Cascade vision and translate Industry strategy into to relevant marketing and sales plan at country level.

    • Build relevant 5 years plan and annual sales budget reflecting bioMerieux Industry Strategy.
    • Collect and share market knowledge and implement a marketing strategy in accordance with global, regional and country strategy.
    • Actively contribute to Strategic & Key Accounts growth led by corporate. Build strong relationship with KOLs ans manage some national key accounts
    • Drive sales operations, monitor expenses and improve DSO.

    Manage Industry P&L

    • Achieve growth and margins targets: ensure monitoring, profitable growth and maximization of the product portfolio and balanced growth for all SBSs.
    • Run a profitable Business : Monitor CPM and expenses according to budgeted target and implement commercial operations initiatives (CRM, CVM, Sales Capabilities…)

    Lead the team

    • Empower, coach and develop commercial operations teams, making decision based on performance assessment.
    • Design, implement and maintain an agile and flexible organization with the aim to create value for the customer.
    • Lead transformation and give sense. Cascade information and explain strategy.

    Manage local interfaces, ensuring good functioning :

    • Define industry objectives and service levels for back office and support functions in order to support growth and meet customer satisfaction, jointly with Country manager
    • Ensure regular follow up.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and group policies.

    Who are you?

    • Bachelor of Science/Business Degree / Project Management.
    • Between 5 and 10 years of commercial sales management experience (business to business and/or corporate account sales experience), with a proven track record of results
    • Technical science background
    • A thorough knowledge of food processing or pharma processing
    • Manage and execute business strategy
    • Strong financial background (Manage and responsible for the full P&L)
    • Ability to develop short and long term strategy, drive and manage projects
    • Ability to build strong partnerships with key KOL's
