    Senior Associate Networking Technical Services (TS) Systems Integration Specialist

    Job Requirements

    Job Profile Summary

    • The Senior Associate Networking Technical Services (TS) Systems Integration Specialist is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for ensuring that client solution requirements are resolved in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
    • This role performs configurations, actions installations and attends to break/fix events.
    • This role works towards associate to professional level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Owns larger portions of an installation, break/fix incidents at a low to medium level of complexity during project lifecycle
    • Takes responsibility for problem resolution and troubleshooting during project lifecycle
    • Escalates complex problems to the relevant third parties.
    • Assists with the documentation of standard operating procedures relating to installations and fixes during ops handover
    • Compiles and maintains project administration (Time Capture and feedback to stakeholders)
    • Conducts elementary presentations within the customer's organization.
    • Expected to take leadership from senior resources on relevant technologies according to specialization and best practice.
    • Performs any other related task as required.

    Knowledge and Attributes:

    Work Experience

    Academic Qualification and Certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or a related field.
    • Professional level certification in different Networking technologies such as Cisco CCNP, Aruba ACP-CA or ACMP, F5 201/301

    Installation knowledge of the following technologies would be advantageous

    • Cisco Meraki Routing/Switching
    • Cisco Wireless
    • Cisco ISE
    • Cisco Viptela SDWAN
    • Cisco Catalyst Centre
    • Aruba Central
    • Aruba ClearPass
    • F5 BIG -IP Server Load Balancing

    Required Experience:

    • Minimum 4 years’ work experience in technical implementation engineering, specific to Networking technologies.
    • Moderate level of experience engaging with clients and conducting presentations.
    • Moderate level of experience in Networking technologies such as routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access layers.
    • Moderate level of experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting

    Virtualization Engineer (L2)

    Job Description

    • The Virtualization Engineer (L2) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.
    • Through the proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving of technical incidents and problems, the Virtualization Engineer (L2) can restore service to clients.
    • Their primary objective is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA).
    • This role focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity.
    • This role focusses across two or more technology domains - Virtualization and Storage / Cloud

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Proactively monitors the work queues
    • Performs operational tasks to resolve all incidents/requests in a timely manner and within the agreed SLA
    • Updates tickets with resolution tasks performed
    • Identifies, investigates, analyses issues and errors prior to or when they occur, and logs all such incidents in a timely manner
    • Captures all required and relevant information for immediate resolution
    • Provides second level support to all incidents, requests and identifies the root cause of incidents and problems
    • Communicates with other teams and clients for extending support
    • Executes changes with clear identification of risks and mitigation plans to be captured into the change record
    • Escalates all tickets to seek the right focus from CoE and other teams, if needed continue the escalations to management
    • Works with automation teams for effort optimization and automating routine tasks
    • Ability to work across various other resolver group (internal and external) like Service Provider, TAC, etc
    • Identifies problems and errors before they impact a client’s service
    • Leads and manages all initial client escalation for operational issues
    • Contributes to the change management process by logging all change requests with complete details for standard and non-standard including patching and any other changes to Configuration Items
    • Ensures all changes are carried out with proper change approvals
    • Plans and executes approved maintenance activities
    • Audits and analyses incident and request tickets for quality and recommends improvements with updates to knowledge articles
    • Produces trend analysis reports for identifying tasks for automation, leading to a reduction in tickets and optimization of effort
    • May also contribute to / support on project work as and when required
    • May work on implementing and delivering Disaster Recovery functions and tests

    Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)
    • Certifications relevant to the services provided (certifications carry additional weightage on a candidate’s qualification for the role)

    Relevant certifications include:

    • HPE certified: Synergy administration (preferred)
    • HPE certified: Primera/Alletra (preferred)
    • VMware certified Professional: Data Centre Virtualization (preferred)
    • VMware: SRM - Site recovery manager (advantages)
    • Microsoft Certified: MCP (preferred)

    Senior Financial Accountant

    • The Senior Financial Accountant is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for preparing more complex financial reports, processing journal entries, processing the accounting month end, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
    • The primary objective of this role is to report costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures and offer financial recommendation and may also manage and prepare budgets.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Accountable for financial forecasting processes.
    • Reconciles accounts, resolves discrepancies and collaborate across various finance and non-finance functions.
    • Responsible for analyzing journals, producing data analysis and reports and assists with variance analysis.
    • Responsible for the assembly of the annual audit information for external auditors.
    • As a partner in the accounting process, recommends how to improve efficiency using automation.
    • Analyzes past performance financial data and prepares budgets and forecasts for business unit management.
    • Implements effective financial controls, including systems reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of reported figures.
    • Plans month-end activities which includes the preparation and processing of month-end journal entries and executing a variety of actions in the accounting system.
