    Storage Manager

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Manage the profitable and sustainable delivery of services, trade and agricultural products to customers in a given area / area.

    Minimum Requirements:         

    • Grade 12 (an agricultural qualification will be an advantage);
    • 2 – 3 years management experience in storage environment;
    • Valid drivers license.

    Skills:

    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Natural ability to successfully function in a competitive agricultural environment;
    • Administration;
    • Inventory management;
    • Marketing;
    • Computer literate (MS Office).

    Credit Officer

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Providing support to the Credit Manager to ensure profitable growth in Debtors Book of the relevant Credit Office. This include the preparation of credit applications, opening and payouts of accounts, as well as handling client queries. These function and duties to be performed within the scope of OVK’s credit Policy and procedure.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (with Accounting as subject an advantage);
    • 2 years debtors experience;
    • FICA knowledge and experience required.

    Skills:

    • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
    • Knowledge of financial statements;
    • Computer literate (MS Office);
    • Good numerical ability;
    • Must be able to take initiative;
    • Good time management skills;
    • Valid drivers license.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handling of credit applications;
    • Credit lending and opening new client accounts;
    • Service and liaison with existing and new financing clients and fibre producers;
    • Administration and general tasks;
    • Consultations with debtors and administration of overdue accounts;

    Workshop Manager

    Main purpose of the position:

    • Effective workshop management and management to provide a sustainable service to all OVK Group clients with profitability.

    Minimum Requirements:           

    • Grade 12;
    • 4-5 years minimum experience in motor environment as workshop manager;
    • Qualified diesel mechanic;
    • Valid drivers license;
    • Knowledge of Toyota workshop processes.

    • Negotiation skills;
    • Diagnostic skill;
    • Good interpersonal skills.

    • Personnel management;

    Business Intelligence Manager

    Core purpose of the position:

    • Developing models and reports that can improve operational and strategic decision-making. Identifying business needs and liaising with the IT department. Providing ongoing assistance to improve reporting in a rapidly changing environment.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Com or B.Accounting degree with completed articles;
    • 5 years or more experience in a financial / IT / reporting environment;
    • Previous experience in an Agri-business environment will be advantageous.

    Skills:

    • Strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence (BI) and reporting;
    • Good analytical ability;
    • Good relationship and communication skills in both Afrikaans and English;
    • Proficient in BI programs such as Microsoft “Power BI” and the use of Microsoft “Visual Basic” in Excel reporting applications;
    • Previous exposure regarding software development in COBOL and the IBM-i operating system (will be advantageous but not required).

    Responsibilities:

    • Identifying and analyzing business needs and making required data available by liaising with the IT department;
    • Developing models and reports for use by business departments;
    • Creating and interpreting data that can improve strategic and operational decision-making.
