    Product Master - P3

    The Role

    • Install, configure, modify, and repair products, equipment and systems that have been purchased by the organization’s customers and identify and correct more complex problems associated with start-up. This role is in our Underground Drills division.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work independently and direct own activities and use best practices and knowledge of internal and external customer and/or business issues to improve the products and services provided by the Underground Drills Division.  
    • Use in depth knowledge and experience in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines to provide product expertise, support and guidance to sales representatives, resellers and/or internal partners during the sales and/or development process.

    Profile Required

    • Trade certificate of competence Electrical/Millwright
    • Technical sales support knowledge
    • At least 3 years sales support and field service experience
    • Ability to work effectively within and report to a matrix organisation

    Aftermarket Sales Support Specialist – Crushing Solutions [P2]

    The Role 

    • This role assists the sales area Crushing Solutions (& associated teams across Africa) with the general sales process support, aligned to key strategic focus areas through the provision of actionable insights of customer and market related information, pricing, inventory management & planning/coordination, as well as support in the establishment and sales support related to the execution/management of aftermarket contracts.  The role will also assist with Sales Area special projects/initiatives to drive after aftermarket sales and business development.

    Key Performance Areas

    Collect and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities and support PSSRs

    • Monitor sales trends
    • Sales forecasting, using available historical data, customer/market knowledge from sales teams to work with business control to provide input into the sales forecasting process.
    • Backorder review management & working with CSC and relevant sales teams to drive revenue targets
    • Monitor market conditions and competitor pricing to ensure competitive positioning and provide analysis reports & recommendations on pricing strategy to enable customer growth/retention.
    • Assist with sales performance information to the BLM and Sales teams

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelors’ Degree or Diploma required (business or commercial qualification) At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in a sales and/or customer service environment (mandatory)

    • CRM – Salesforce experience (mandatory)
    • ERP – Aurora knowledge system use to run reports (mandatory)

    Service Operations Manager - Southern Africa [M2]

    The Role 

    • The Service Operations Manager is responsible for leading the technical service organization and ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of aftermarket services across the territory. The role is accountable for managing field service technicians, workshop activities, service contracts, and customer support while developing and executing the aftermarket repair and refurbishment strategy.
    • The incumbent will drive growth in aftermarket revenues through repairs, rebuilds, component exchange programs, condition monitoring services, maintenance contracts, upgrades, and lifecycle solutions.     Aftermarket Operations Manager – Africa – Mobile Crushing and Screening

    The Role 

    • Responsible for leading and growing the Aftermarket organization in Sales Area Africa for Mobile Crushing & Screening, aligning the Africa aftermarket strategy with the Division / Business Line strategy and executing territory-specific action plans and initiatives. Manage and grow aftermarket sales for parts, wear and spares, maintenance services, service solutions, warranty / guarantee support, product upgrades and lifecycle offerings across direct customers and distributors, ensuring customer needs are understood and matched with Sandvik’s offering to maximize customer value, retention, satisfaction and profitable aftermarket growth.
    • Leads the Aftermarket organization and support territory teams across Africa to deliver agreed budgets, forecasts, lifecycle strategies, capture-rate improvement, installed-base development, commercial discipline and high standards of product, technical and customer service support.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Develop and implement the Africa Sales Area aftermarket plan based on Division / Business Line aftermarket strategy, with clear territory action plans for growth, retention and customer engagement.
    • Drive profitable aftermarket growth across spare parts, wear parts, maintenance services, repair solutions, warranty extensions, product upgrades and lifecycle services.

    • Coordinate lifecycle strategies in the territories, report on activities and improvements, and ensure all responsible stakeholders execute agreed actions.

    Customer and distributor relationship management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key mining customers, distributors and internal stakeholders to secure repeat business, retention and high customer satisfaction.
    • Provide consultative selling by understanding customer / distributor needs and recommending aftermarket solutions that improve equipment performance, reliability and lifecycle value.
    • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues related to aftermarket products and services promptly and professionally, coordinating escalation where required.

    Commercial offerings, pricing and contract management

    • Promote aftermarket agreements and the full commercial offering to secure aftermarket business and improve coverage across the installed base.
    • Lead or support pricing negotiations, service and supply contracts, warranty / guarantee agreements and extended service offerings, ensuring alignment with company policies, profitability goals and market conditions.
    • Participate in the establishment of the commercial strategy, including 3–5-year plans, BAPs and ABPs, and follow up on actions required to meet strategic objectives.

    Sales operations, forecasting and performance management

    • Oversee sales forecasts, budgets and sales plans for the aftermarket segment, translating annual targets into quarterly, monthly and weekly sales activity priorities.
    • Monitor sales performance, pipeline, market share, margins and aftermarket KPIs, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
    • Ensure adherence to relevant aftermarket sales processes and standard operating procedures, including quoting, order processing, customer service and follow-up discipline.

    Installed base, digital tools and market intelligence

    • Ensure installed-base, fleet and market-share databases are accurate, properly developed and used to identify opportunities for growth, gap analysis, consumption modelling and competitor equipment replacement.
    • Promote the use of available tools, including digital tools, to improve customer service, track the active fleet and monitor the status of digitized equipment.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to track industry trends, competitor activity, pricing, customer needs, regulations, technology developments and new product / service opportunities.

    Product introduction, technical support and service capability

    • Promote and follow the introduction of new products and ensure aftermarket capture-rate plans are in place for any new installed base.
    • Create and maintain an organization that provides high-quality technical assistance on products and applications to Divisions, territories and customers.
    • Develop a competency roadmap for lifecycle support and increase service team capability through certifications, training, webinars and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the region.
    • Gather and manage cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis for failures at strategic customers, collect troubleshooting information and refer it to the factory support line where required.
    • Consolidate and communicate technical and safety bulletins and monitor correct application of new technical and safety measures.

    Resources, repair strategy, supply chain and customer support

    • Establish and maintain an organization capable of supporting strategic and financial objectives, ensuring aftermarket resources are appropriate for Africa region requirements.
    • Work with Territory Managers and Territory Service Managers to build business cases for additional resources, investments, partners or facilities required to support growth.
    • Promote the repair strategy to enhance and grow the aftermarket business, including necessary partners or facilities to support repair execution.
    • Work with logistics and inventory management functions to ensure optimal supply chain setup, inventory availability, timely customer order fulfilment and improved availability through forecasting and planning.
    • Ensure optimal setup and management of customer service / support (CSC) and technical sales support to optimize customer experience.

    Leadership, governance and broader support

    • Lead, support and coordinate sales, product support, field service, sales support and training resources to deliver aftermarket commitments across Africa.
    • Collaborate with Territory Managers, Territory Service Managers, Sales Managers, Commercial Operations Support, Procurement, Logistics, Product Managers, Training and Backline teams to execute strategy.
    • Support additional aftermarket growth opportunities within the reasonable scope of the role, including cross-division opportunities where relevant.

    Sustainability Manager (Executive) - M4

    JOB PURPOSE

    • The role drives compliance with regional ESG regulations, supports customer sustainability requirements, manages governance and reporting, and strengthens stakeholder engagement across internal and external partners.
