    Senior Quality Control Advisor

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Compliance Portfolio Management

    • Establish and maintain IMS Governance documentation related to Project Quality Control and Quality Assurance
    • Manage and implement external audit schedules with follow-up oversight
    • Prepare and ensure readiness of Project QA/QC processes for certification, surveillance, and audits
    • Oversee external audit findings management and corrective action implementation

     Supplier and Contractor Oversight

    • Establish and implement comprehensive Supplier Monitoring programs (onboarding and periodic assessments)
    • Maintain Non-Nuclear and Nuclear Quality Supplier Monitoring databases
    • Develop and deliver quality training for suppliers, subcontractors, and construction leads
    • Provide remediation training for suppliers delivering sub-standard work
    • Implement and manage established project surveillance programs across all Lesedi P&L divisions

    Project Support and Monitoring

    • Support Project Management in ensuring professional handling of client audits
    • Monitor and enforce standardization of quality requirements across all Lesedi work sites
    • Assess, monitor, report, and identify areas for improvement and opportunities for improvement (OFI)
    • Perform post-work reviews of Project Packages as required
    • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where necessary
    • Prepare Project Quality Plans (PQPs), Project Management Plans (PMPs), and Quality Control Plans (QCPs) for tender submissions

    Customer Satisfaction Management

    • Analyze external customer satisfaction feedback data
    • Provide improvement recommendations based on customer satisfaction analysis
    • Conduct supplier/contractor NCR analyses
    • Develop quality trend reports for management related to supplier performance
    • Develop and monitor quality key performance indicators

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Advanced Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Engineering (essential)
    • Professional registration with SAATCA or equivalent (advantageous)

     EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 7 years experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) in either technical or project quality assurance/control roles (essential)
    • Proven track record of training and implementing company strategies successfully
    • Demonstrated experience in system and/or process auditing
    • Experience in developing audit programs
    • Experience in developing quality key performance indicators
    • Experience in producing quality trend reports for management related to supplier performance
    • Multi-disciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction industry experience
    • Nuclear industry experience with applicable standards, codes, regulations, and practices (advantageous)

    Senior Quality Management Advisor

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Implement and manage established project surveillance programs
    • Ensure quality standards compliance across all supplier and contractor activities

    Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement

    • Analyze external customer satisfaction feedback data
    • Provide improvement recommendations based on customer satisfaction analysis
    • Update IMS processes to align with industry norms and standards

    Compile overview and trend reporting for multiple data areas including:

    • Self-Assessment data analysis
    • Lessons Learned data compilation
    • Continuous Improvement data tracking
    • Customer feedback data analysis
    • Nonconformity data trending

    Staff Development and Training

    • Develop and implement IMS induction and indoctrination training for Lesedi personnel
    • Create comprehensive Lesedi IMS training materials
    • Implement ongoing IMS staff training programs
    • Continuously improve and update IMS training materials aligned with industry best practices

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Professional registration with SAATCA or equivalent (essential)

    Site Electrical Supervisor (RP)

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Construction Delivery

    • Manage and coordinate subcontractors across all assigned site areas
    • Ensure construction activities are executed according to construction strategies and plans
    • Track progress and report to Construction Manager on project execution
    • Manage material distribution, storage, protection, and installation according to contractual obligations
    • Coordinate commissioning activities with site Commissioning Manager
    • Oversee quality assurance management and NCR close-out processes
    • Verify and implement construction works progress measurement procedures

    Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Compliance

    • Ensure site staff compliance with Lesedi NS Health and Safety Policy and Plan
    • Verify contractor Health and Safety plans align with specifications
    • Conduct regular site walkabouts to ensure Health and Safety Plan compliance
    • Implement Environmental Management Plan requirements and ROD/EPA compliance
    • Serve as Responsible Person under OHSA act for Permit to Work procedures
    • Maintain quality control standards and defect management processes

    Project Administration & Documentation

    • Complete project documentation during implementation phases
    • Manage subcontractor construction documentation collection and review
    • Maintain relations with local external organizations and statutory bodies
    • Manage contractor instructions and communication through project platforms
    • Input into site-based subcontractor payment claims and delivery notes
    • Prepare construction documentation for final hand-over packages

    Stakeholder Management

    • Implement Project Industrial Relations Policy and Procedures
    • Establish clear job descriptions and responsibilities for site personnel
    • Attend relevant site meetings and project coordination sessions
    • Manage interfaces including permits, shutdown requirements, and operational impacts
    • Measure personnel performance via agreed KPIs

    Responsible Person

    • Application of ESKOM standards with regards to HV and other regulation.
    • Oversite functions of and ESKOM RP.

     QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Completed Responsible Person course/authorisation
    • Artisan/Technician (National Certificate) + 5 years related experience including quality assurance principles, OR
    • Technician (Engineering Diploma - ND) + 3 years related experience including quality assurance principles
    • OHSA and Construction Regulations training
    • Eligibility to become a PR CM (Professionally Registered Construction Manager)
    • Minimum 2 years' experience as Construction Supervisor or related role
    • Practical site construction experience
