    Data Architect

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess business needs and align operational plans with business objectives.
    • Develop and implement business intelligence security strategies and operational plans.
    • Design and architect BI solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data management best practices.
    • Lead the design, development, and modification of data infrastructure to accelerate data analysis and reporting processes.
    • Ensure data quality and consistency across Data solutions.
    • Inform security measures to protect Data assets and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Evaluate and incorporate emerging Data technologies and trends.
    • Oversee the design of data integration processes and ETL workflows.
    • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
    • Manage vendor relationships to ensure alignment with business needs.
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the data management unit.
    • Develop and guide implementation of data management governance practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    Minimum requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum Required: Diploma in Information Studies, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
    • Preferred: Degree in the above fields.

    Experience:

    • 10 years of experience in the IT environment, with 2 years or more in a senior technical lead role.
    • Strong knowledge of Data Governance and Analysis, Intelligence/Data Analytics principles, tools, and best practices.
    • Working knowledge of programming and statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, R etc.) and cutting-edge data quality management solutions.
    • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as Data Privacy and Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
    • Strong knowledge of Data Architecture approaches to Data Warehousing eg. Kimbal, DataLake, Lakehouse, Data Bricks etc
    • Competent with approaches, platforms for big data use cases in the cloud.
    • Competent with DevOps practices in Data development (MLOps advantageous).

    Pharmacy Manager - Clicks De Aar

    Job Objectives:

    • To ensure and to provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and the provision of advice in accordance with Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice and within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
    • To efficiently manage and control all operational activities of the dispensary, including safe and responsible stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping and administration in line with merchandising, SAPC regulations and company standards.

    • To manage customer service initiatives in the dispensary that results in a great customer experience, drives customer loyalty and achieves club card participation targets.
    • To ensure integration and partnership with the clinic and healthcare ailse resulting in a full offering to customers regarding their healthcare needs.
    • To support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by living and driving the company values.
    • To drive cohesion, consistency and integration between the store operation, pharmacy and clinic teams.

    Minimum requirements

    Experience:

    • Essential: Minimum 2 years’ experience post community service year
    • Essential: Minimum 1 year People Management experience
    • Essential: Registration as Responsible Pharmacist with SAPC
