    Senior Network Engineer

    Role Overview

    • The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Core Group’s network infrastructure. This role ensures optimal performance, security, and scalability across all sites while maintaining compliance with best practices.
    • You’ll lead complex network projects, collaborate across departments, and provide technical leadership in Cisco, Fortinet, and Microsoft environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable network solutions.
    • Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion prevention, and access control systems (Fortinet).
    • Oversee daily network operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
    • Manage network infrastructure across multiple sites and ensure consistent standards.
    • Lead and deliver network projects on time and within budget.
    • Maintain accurate network documentation and performance reports.
    • Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
    • Support internal teams and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or related field.
    • 5–7 years’ experience in enterprise network engineering.
    • Hands-on experience with CiscoFortinet, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
    • Proven success in full lifecycle network implementations and integrations.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    Certifications:

    • Cisco: Minimum CCNA (CCNP/CCIE advantageous)
    • Fortinet: NSE 4 or higher
    • Microsoft: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700)
    • Advantage: IP Telephony (Euphoria, Microsoft Teams)

    Marketing Account Manager

    ABOUT THE ROLE: 

    • The Marketing Account Manager is responsible for, along with the Senior Marketing Manager, taking ownership of the coordination of all marketing and digital advertising activities and executions for both iStore and the regional marketing assistance we do for our partners in the various regions across the continent. 
    • These activities include ideation, concept development, internal creative briefs, internal creative reviews, external media agency briefings, frequent budget and performance optimisations, and high levels of agility and pro-activity. Weekly newsletter database email communication needs to be planned, briefed, and executed in line with the quarterly budget plans. Performance analysis and monthly reports on all activities are also required. 
    • This individual is responsible for financial administration and billing procedures of all above the line digital marketing related costs. The Marketing Account Manager will need to have strong written and verbal skills. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and data-driven approach to marketing campaigns and general decision making. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Plan iStore and partner media strategies together with the Senior Marketing Manager aligned to marketing plan & strategy and business objectives (including Google, Social media ads, YouTube, Premium Placements, ATL, BTL, TTL, and in-store, etc) 
    • Coordinate internal creative and external marketing briefs related to paid marketing 
    • Develop marketing project plans with budgets that include target market, objectives and timelines. 
    • iStore Africa brand custodian/champion ensuring that all marketing communication mediums are in line with the principles guidelines. 
    • Pro-active planning and re-alignment of any and all digital marketing collateral as required. 
    • Manage relationships with key external partners & agencies related to Media, ATL, BTL, TTL & Digital Marketing. 
    • Manage relationships with all internal stakeholders as required 
    • Create, Manage, set up and monitor all advertising campaigns 
    • Coordinate the sending of weekly customer digital newsletters for digital communications 
    • Deal and pricing management of weekly newsletter content Consideration and the marketing they may require to drive numbers for the sales teams.
    • Digital and social media marketing

    Reporting 

    • Monthly advertising effectiveness reports
    • Post-campaign feedback / analysis reports
    • CRM journey
    • Proof of Action document 

    Administration

    • Monthly budget reporting
    • Raise Purchase Orders on Syspro for suppliers engaged, or as per request from Marketing manager
    • Ensure invoices received from suppliers for matching PO’s within time-frame for payment, including invoice sign-off 

    Educational Qualifications: 

    • Matric 
    • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field. 

    Experience Required:

    • 3+ year’s experience in B2B Marketing Coordination or Agency Account Management

    Brand Ambassador & Events Co-ordinator (Wearables & Sports Products)

    Job Description

    • Are you passionate about fitness, sports, and cutting-edge wearable technology? Do you thrive on the energy of events and enjoy connecting with communities? We’re looking for a dynamic Brand Ambassador & Events Co-ordinator to bring Apple Watch experiences to life across South Africa.
    • In this role, you’ll plan and execute a year-round calendar of fitness and sports activations — from races and gym events to in-store workouts — while personally representing the brand as a credible and enthusiastic ambassador.
    • You’ll manage everything end-to-end: event strategy, partner engagement, logistics, social content, and on-site activations.

    What You’ll Do

    • Develop and deliver a 12-month events calendar for Apple Watch activations in collaboration with partners, communities, and retail teams.
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with race organisers, gyms, clubs, and brands to secure premium event placements.
    • Own all event logistics, including supplier bookings, staffing, demo devices, signage, and budgets.
    • Actively participate at events (e.g., runs, spin classes, fitness activations) while showcasing Apple Watch features in real time.
    • Capture and package authentic stories and social content for our digital channels.
    • Generate qualified leads, drive iStore App downloads, and create seamless customer experiences at every activation.
    • Track, analyse, and report on event performance, content engagement, and ROI.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align in-store and online momentum before and after events.

    Min Requirements:

    • Relevant Degree, ideally in Sport Science/Biokinetics, Marketing, Communications, or Event Management
    • 2+ years hands-on experience in events coordination/production.
    • Genuine involvement in endurance or fitness communities (running, cycling, gym, Hyrox, etc.).
    • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally and work weekends.
    • Strong operational skills (planning, budgeting, logistics) and partner relationship management.
    • Confident, credible presence at events with a passion for brand storytelling.
    • Mobile content creation skills (photo/video editing, short-form content).
    • Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem (Apple Watch, Fitness+, iPhone pairing) is advantageous.
    • Comfortable with basic analytics and reporting tools (e.g., UTM, Meta/TikTok/YouTube/GA4).
