Description

• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment, buildings and facilities within and around the Packhouse.
• Ensuring optimal performance, supporting lean manufacturing principles by streamlining the maintenance processes and minimizing downtime.
• This role includes managing a team,coordinating with other departments, and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies aligned with budget requirements.
• By adhering to industry standards, the Maintenance
• Manager will lead the team to "Operational Excellence".

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Strong mechanical, electrical and maintenance knowledge and experience
• Relevant Trade qualification is essential
• Minimum 5 years as a qualified artisan in a production environment, with electrical experience suited to a production environment.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, boiler making, rigging, etc.
• Experience working in the Agricultural Packhouse industry will be advantageous

Description

• To manage the packing facility and related quality and protocol measures, operational teams, and processes to meet packhouse requirements in a safe and efficient manner including human resources and customer services.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Agriculture/ Business Development/Engineering or Industrial Engineering
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in a Packhouse Manager role or similar role within the food, beverages, or manufacturing facility
• Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, SIZA, and Global Gap Accreditation
