Responsibilities

• Are you flexible and willing to work across geographies and time zones?
• Conduct regular performance reviews with appointed Suppliers. Ensure that Suppliers meet contractual obligations and deliver the required level of service.
• Monitor and report on spend, Supplier performance and resource utilization etc.
• Work alongside team members to raise purchase orders and reconcile supplier invoices.
• Carry out forecasting activities and ensure that Suppliers have the correct level of resources available to support LSEG requirements. 
• Plan and monitor spend with Suppliers on a regular basis ensuring no budget issues and alignment with Finance team.
• Review and define new outsourcing requirements.
• Draft and run third party contracts.
• Identify and implement improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Provide support with Logistics related activities, deliver projects and carry out ad hoc activities as requested.

Skills

• Solid expertise in Procurement / Vendor Management / Supply Chain Management.
• Excellent written and spoken English!
• Independent with excellent time management and critical issue skills.
• Strong reporting and analytical skills, ability to summarize data and attention to detail.
• Numerate with great organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Collaborative with strong listening skills.

Qualifications

• Able to use written and spoken English as the working language - essential.
• Procurement or Supplier Management qualifications - desired.
• Good expertise in Excel and PowerPoint - essential.
• Experience of working in a global environment – essential.
• Financial sector experience - desired.
• Expertise with tools such as Ariba, Service Now and Service Cloud - desired.

SOME OF THE TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM

• Researching reputable media, government, regulatory and law enforcement sources to build and maintain relevant data in LSEG applications
• Using open-source research methods to gather information in the public domain
• Identifying regulatory and financial risk such as money laundering, fraud, organized crime, narcotics trafficking, and corruption
• Becoming familiar and staying up to date with guidelines and regulations to ensure accuracy and high quality of delivered work
• Collaboration with globally based teams on shared projects

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING

• Proficiency in English and German/French
• Any additional language is helpful.
• Critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to details
• Organization skills
• Very good use of Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Awareness of the socio-political context of the countries matching your language skills
• Know Your Customer / Anti-Money Laundering / Financial Crime knowledge and experience would be an advantage
