What You’ll Be Responsible For

Sales Strategy & Regional Growth

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the digital solutions footprint across Sub-Saharan Africa
• Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business through market research, prospecting, and cold outreach

Business Development & Key Account Management

• Build and sustain strong relationships with executives, engineers, and procurement teams
• Own the full sales cycle — from lead generation and proposals through negotiation and deal closure
• Act as a point of coordination for key accounts, ensuring seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

• Deliver compelling presentations and solution demonstrations tailored to customer needs
• Support customers before, during, and after implementation to ensure adoption and long-term success
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to shape solutions using customer insights

Market Intelligence & Brand Representation

• Track industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital technologies
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines and provide regular performance and market feedback to leadership
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows across the region

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s an advantage)
• 5+ years’ experience selling digital solutions within the Oil & Gas sector
• Strong exposure to AI environments
• Proven success selling complex technology solutions (IoT, AI-driven, cloud-based solutions preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets in African markets

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize and oversee all accounting processes, including AR, AP, cash, costing & inventory, and general accounting, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting that meets NOV's high standards.
• Actively participate in treasury management by identifying financial needs, analyzing FX exposures, and handling daily cash and debt management.
• Collaborate with the Country Controller and Tax Manager to ensure tax processes are optimized and tax reporting is accurate and compliant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting/Finance, or Chartered Accountant qualification (with at least 3 years’ articles completed).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IFRS accounting and tax return review, ideally gained through a combination of audit and multinational finance roles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with employees at all levels.

• Configure PLC software (Siemens S7, TIA Portal) for both simulation and machine environments.
• Establish and optimize network configurations to enhance system performance.
• Fine-tune simulation performance to meet operational requirements.
• Evaluate and implement new system features to improve functionality.
• Provide technical support to simulator system users.
• Develop comprehensive and clear technical documentation.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Competencies:

• Advanced knowledge of PLC software, with a focus on Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
• Strong skills in network configuration and optimization.
• Proven expertise in simulation software development.
• Deep understanding of software-hardware interaction.
• Proficiency in debugging simulations of electrical and hydraulic components.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced technical certifications are preferred.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years post graduate PLC experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a technical laboratory or workshop environment.
• Comfortable working with complex technical systems and equipment.
