    Draughtsman: Mechanical Design (Falcon) - Howick

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

    Drafting and Design

    • 3D CAD modelling for conceptual products, prototypes, and more.
    • Generation of manufacturing drawings for prototype manufacturing.

    Supplier and Stakeholder Liaison

    • Work with suppliers, product end-users, technical specialists, and colleagues to commission designs and drafting.
    • Attend workshops, trade shows, and exhibitions as required by the company.

    Project Involvement

    • Assist in the company's product development initiatives in collaboration with the R&D team.
    • Contribute to improvements in production processes and facilities.
    • Participate in meetings, present proposals, and provide regular project progress reports.
    • Oversee in-field product testing and monitoring.

    Employee Management

    • Supervise employees, delegate duties, and ensure efficient performance.
    • Provide training, motivation, and constructive feedback to team members.

    Requirements

    • National Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
      Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a mechanical, mechanized, or general technical environment

    Regional Sales Manager (Falcon) - Howick

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

    • To maintain and increase sales of a range of locally manufactured and imported agricultural implements and spare parts, while calling on Agricultural Mechanisation Dealers. Identify gaps and opportunities in the market and propose appropriate strategies to capitalize on them.

    Act as Product Specialist

    • Engage in continuous professional development by attending Engage in Stay up to date by attending training conferences in Germany
    • Responsible for launch of new/ improved products
    • Ensure availability of stock by forecasting, planning, ordering and following up and liaising directly with
    • Amazone Product Specialist
    • Assist Regional Sales Managers and dealers by visiting key account stakeholders and acting as a Product Specialist
    • Establish and maintain sales tracking systems, including CRM software, to monitor sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance in collaboration with the finance department.
    • Train internal staff and dealers (sales and technical staff) on product knowledge, features, benefits, technical knowledge, operating procedures, fault finding (including: electronics, hydraulics and mechanics)

     Assist with product related administration

    • Ensure that all implements sold are registered on the Amazone portal
    • Manage warranties to completion, including ensuring all warranties are documented and registered on the Amazone portal
    • Compile technical reports for dealers
    • Liaise with Finance Manager and Product Specialist regarding importation of implements and spare parts

    Employee Management

    • Supervise employees.
    • Delegate responsibilities and duties.
    • Manage performance of employees.
    • Provide in-house training and guidance and support to employees.
    • Motivate employees and provide constructive feedback on performance.
    • Develop and manage succession plan/ personal development plan of employees.
    • Follow internal procedures when dealing with disciplinary related issues

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or manufacturing industry
    • Proven track record of technical agricultural expertise, achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth Experience in managing sales and implementing effective sales strategies; Knowledge of the agricultural equipment industry is desirable.
    • National Senior Certificate
    • Proven sales training and certifications are a plus.
    • Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
    • Strong negotiating and conflict management skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy and accountability in all aspects of the job.
