    Senior Sales Representative (Orthopaedics and Medsurg) – Garden Route

    About the Role

    • Have to sell on a daily basis
    • Call on Orthopaedic surgeons (via rooms, in theatre, hospital tearooms), Matrons, scrub sisters, pharmacy managers, CSSD sisters, stock controllers
    • Conduct regular workshops with Doctors, scrub sisters, CSSD sisters
    • Admin – weekly & monthly reports, stock take, quotes for repairs & product orders
    • Constant online and/or virtual trainings for development
    • Close collaborate with Medsurg team as well as other divisions incl. arthroplasty & trauma
    • Scrub for theatre cases – CRICE certified
    • Travel is 70-80% of the time
    • Reside in the territory

    Regional Sales Manager, Orthopedic

    Key Activities & Accountabilities

    • Financial responsibility of the business in respective Region.
    • RSM is expected to meet or exceed their annual Sales Revenue Target as defined in the Division budget.  RSM is expected to meet or exceed these targets by compliant means
    • RSM is expected to run profitable Business Unit in their respective geographical area.  The expectation is that the RSMs and sales teams will meet margin expectations by implementing an appropriate pricing policy to get sales in line with “Sales Revenue Target” as well as meet margin expectation as defined in the annual budget
    • The RSM is expected, for the purpose of Stryker’s manufacturing and sales forecasting, to ensure accurate sales forecasts each month
    • Manage the team/business – the RSM should have extensive experience of:
    • Establish broad and solid relationships with clients (internal and external) to ensure the solidity of the sales team
    • Coach and mentor all direct reports and establish development plans for them to exceed expectations

    • A good understanding of P&L, and working knowledge of how to maximize profits, for Stryker
    • This manager needs to be out and about, with high visibility and impact, living and breathing all Stryker’s values to customers and employees alike
    • Proven experience in delivering excellence in market share growth and financial commitments
    • Experience in executing on the marketing plan within budget constraints

    Marketing & Education Intern - Johannesburg

    Main objective / purpose of the role:

    • The position is responsible for coordinating sales support by organization of marketing & Education events and managing all daily marketing activities.

    Technical Support - Johannesburg

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)

    • Maintain a professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service on Stryker’s products, while ensuring compliance with the quality systems and manufacturer specifications. 
    • Deliver technical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers. 
    • Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker products
    • Perform annual service checks in house on the Stryker products
    • Efficient management of documentation for internal as external references
    • Give technical support to Product Managers and sales staff
    • Give technical support to Customers and Sales Department
    • Give IT support on certain instruments
    • Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer initiated issues
    • Respond to Service Complaints as defined
    • Turnaround time for repairs within set guidelines
    • Assist with service delivery, and training of Customers and Sales Staff
    • Maintain demo loaner pool platform is kept in order and accountable for

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Grade 12 National Diploma or Degree in Clinical Engineering or other Electronic related equivalent qualification
    • Minimum 1 years’ experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills, preferably in the hospital environment
    • Stryker product portfolio knowledge preferred
    • Ability to interpret manufacturing prints & troubleshooting guidelines
    • Fluency in English, spoken & written
    • Adequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, Outlook)
    • Valid driving licence preferably
