    Measuring and Testing Analyst

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

    • Work together with line management, Site teams, group quality support team to ensure standards and specifications of quality, productivity and efficiency are met and subsequently improved upon.

    Measurement, Testing, and Inspection Oversight

    • Supervise and perform physical, chemical analysis, and microbial activity of raw peanuts, roasted peanuts, and peanut butter (e.g., moisture content, aflatoxin levels, oil content, texture, viscosity, pH, particle size).
    • Ensure sampling plans are followed as per HACCP, ISO 22000, and internal protocols.
    • Maintain and operate measurement and laboratory equipment including viscometers, moisture analysers, spectrophotometers, sieves, and balances/ scales, HPLC.
    • Develop and validate standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab tests and in-line quality checks.

    Process Quality Control

    • Monitor critical control points (CCPs) throughout the processing line (cleaning, roasting, grinding, mixing, filling and capping).
    • Ensure proper calibration and functioning of in-line testing devices (e.g., metal detectors, weighing systems, temperature gauges).
    • Conduct sensory evaluations for consistency in texture, taste, colour, and aroma.
    • Implement corrective actions based on test results and root cause analysis for non-conformities. 

    ​​​​​​​Compliance and Documentation

    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results, deviations, corrective actions, and certificates of analysis (COA) and update trends continuously and ensure that they are available up on request.
    • Ensure compliance with national and international food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, FSSAI, Codex, ISO 22000, BRC, GMP).
    • Participate in internal and third-party audits and inspections.
    • Assist with traceability and recall simulations as part of the food safety plan.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to ensure that POs are raised and GRV’d on time for all the outsourced required lab & food safety and quality related activities.

    ​​​​​​​Team Leadership and Training

    • Provide technical supervision to junior lab technicians and quality inspectors.
    • Train staff on good laboratory practices (GLP), sampling procedures, food safety &hygiene, and QA protocols.
    • Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in cross-functional projects with production, R&D, and site teams.

    ​​​​​​​​Continuous Improvement and Innovation

    • Analyse trends in testing results to identify areas of risk or improvement.
    • Work with R&D, production and site team to develop enhanced testing methods and optimize product consistency.
    • Support projects on reducing rework, minimizing waste, and improving shelf life and product stability.

    Inventory Controller

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE

    • To manage stock inventory by tightly monitoring it from the process facility all the way to finished goods and achieving zero stock take variances through the utilisation of SOPs, and leading staff in achieving these business objectives.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Managing stock inventory, making sure that it is of good quality standards, and they is no variances in each sub-inventory. 
    • Manage, train, or coach team members on stock take, sorting, and inventory management SOP.
    • Among other MECP tools, you must have an excellent understanding of 55 principles, teamwork, Quality, and Safety pillars. 
    • Good presentation skills, since you will be required to facilitate meetings with your teams. 
    • Must have a cost reduction mindset since it will play a crucial role in driving down conversion cost, and will be involved in cost initiative projects.

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

    • Core knowledge : Safety rules and regulations, Food Safety, Government policies on Safety Health and safety legal compliance,  Project management,  Risk management
    • Academic : Grade 12, Food Technology and Science, Industrial Engineering qualifications, Operations/Production Management qualification.
    • Experience : 3 years of experience as a  Food Technologist/Industrial Engineer/manufacturing Supervisor/Team leader, management of subordinates(human skills), experience in warehouse management/ Food processing lines, and mechanical maintenance of equipment.
    • Behavioural Analytical and problem solving ability
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good communication & service orientated skills
    • Planning skills with a high degree of control to complete items efficiently
    • Fundamental understanding of food processing equipment
    • Ability to think strategically 
    • Good Innovative thinking skills

    Millwright

    • Operate, maintain, repair and optimise plant and associated equipment to ensure plant availability, cost, safety and product quality. 3 years experience and Millwright trade test
    • Compilation and updating of equipment registers (safety).
    • To ensure that machinery used in the unit is maintained, set correctly and free of safety hazards.
    • Input and print job cards and stores requisitions on the planned maintenance system.
    • Provide technical support to machine operators.
    • Conduct routine maintenance and maintenance inspections.
    • Machinery available and utilised to full capacity.
    • Planned maintenance executed and improved operational efficiency at all machines assigned to the position.
    • Electrical and mechanical maintenance / repairs on equipment
    • To efficiently manage stocks of spares & equipment needed to maintain Plant
    • To minimize plant downtime through efficient & effective maintenance
    • Applying pro-active preventative maintenance principles
    • Complete job cards, log books and inspection reports.
    • Conduct hazard analysis and determine control measures for the hazards
    • Familiarise yourself and adhere to the maintenance-related food safety program established by the Maintenance Coordinator
    • Ensure the usage of only approved food grade lubricants on machinery.
    • Adhere to all food safety standardsN3 Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering
    • Electro-mechanics Trade Test.
    • 3 years + Millwright experience in fast moving packaging machines/ FMCG
    • 3 years working in a Electro-Mechanics environment
