    Senior Consultant Retail CX & Close Loop

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • A key part of this role is to manage all Customer responses on various survey platforms from resolving and recovering of customer, improving business area and keeping track of improvement areas.
    •  Analysing the data, establishing findings and solutions and collaborate with various stakeholders and business units to action on improvements to optimise the customer experience.
    • The Senior Consultant Retail tNPS and Customer Experience will ensure that customers receive a high level of service with timeous and accurate execution through managing and delivery of various Retail Customer Experience projects. 
    • The actions within this role will have a direct impact on the RNPS , NPS and tNPS results of Vodacom and the Retail channel.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Best in class Customer Care: Ensuring that Customers receive a high level of service with timeous and accurate execution of interaction and transaction within Retail touchpoints.
    • Customer interaction across all customer touch points is assessed to ensure that the business NPS remains ahead of competitors by creating awareness of Customer Experience insights within the channels.
    • Addressing specific focus areas of concern and how improvements can be actioned.
    •  A quality Close loop process within Retail environment with various Customer survey feedback methods to be managed
    • Identifying gaps, opportunities and trends and review of Retail Customer Experience strategies to align with Vodacom strategies.
    • Identify training needs and address with Training department to make sure it is part of the training curriculum
    • Coordinating and liaising with various business units around the Trend analysis findings to address the source of the trend.
    • System Management: Analyse, establish findings and solutions. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure feedback for improvements in processes and systems to continuously add value and ultimately make the processes and systems efficient and user-friendly.  
    • Display a high level of independence, confidence and “out-of-the-box” thinking. Involving people and encouraging participation. Motivating people and building trust amongst people. Building team spirit amongst all stakeholders.
    • Effective support and communication. Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers / staff / colleagues /& other stakeholders.
    • Reporting : daily , weekly,  monthly and adhoc
    • Evaluating the quality of work and ensuring the implementation of any quality related strategies.
    • Ensure alignment with Vodacom policies, procedures and standards in all engagements and operational contexts as applicable.
    • Encourage frequent knowledge sharing between team members
    • Ensure the team is aware of compliance requirements and that all compliance and regulatory training is completed within required timelines.

    Business Development Manager

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • To drive successful penetration and growth of Vodacom’s fintech propositions across payments, lending, insurance, investments, and disbursements.
    • The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, executing go-to-market strategies, and building strategic partnerships to deliver revenue and profitability targets.
    • Works alongside Client Directors, Client Managers, and product teams to construct winning propositions and customer business cases for enterprise and consumer segments. Provides input into deal shaping and innovative business models to accelerate adoption of fintech solutions across Vodacom’s ecosystem.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Consultative Engagement: Work with relationship owners to provide thought leadership and define sales activity for demand generation and winning fintech propositions.
    • Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities aligned to Vodacom’s fintech plays.
    • Partnership Enablement: Support onboarding and management of banks, insurers, fintechs, and merchants to expand reach and profitability.
    • GTM Execution: Implement go-to-market plans for assigned segments in collaboration with EBU, CBU, and MPESA Africa.
    • Competitive Intelligence: Lead market research on fintech trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory developments; educate internal stakeholders to shape competitive solutions.
    • Commercial Support: Assist in pricing, bundling, and monetization strategies for consumer and enterprise markets.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Matric and a 3 year degree in Business Management, Bcom or Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
    • Experience in cloud based Unified Communications applications and Enterprise cloud services, marketing and/or commercial operations. 
    • Proven track record in pre-sales and solution development.
    • Proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales solutions to meet the business and clients needs and driving business results.
    • Extensive and strong business acumen with a deep strategic perspective and ability to quickly understand business strategy

    Principal Solutions Architect

    Role Purpose/Business Unit:

    • To lead the technical architecture and solution design for Vodacom’s new business development and integrated FinTech ecosystem strategy, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant solutions that enable commercialization and adoption across consumer and enterprise markets.
    • This role translates strategic objectives into end-to-end technology solutions for new business development, payments, lending, insurance, investments, and disbursements.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Solution Architecture Leadership: Develop key end-to-end functional requirements and shape the solution design approach for FinTech platforms and emerging solutions.
    • Complex Government Digital Solutions: Lead end-to-end solutions for complex (across emerging platforms, fintech ecosystems and core Vodacom solutions), multi-solution deployments that align with business objectives and architecture standards, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
    • Integrated Customer Experience: Drive programmes that enable interconnected Emerging market FinTech offerings (e.g., Vodapay, M-Pesa, partner channels) and enterprise digitalisation offerings for seamless customer experiences across consumer and enterprise segments.
    • Architectural Frameworks & Standards: Create and enforce architectural frameworks and principles to maintain integrity, reusability, and simplicity throughout the solution lifecycle.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Vodacom architects, Fintech product architects, commercial teams, and engineering to define guardrails, refine features, and plan high-level delivery for pilots, MVPs, and scaled deployments.
    • Root Cause Analysis & Issue Resolution: Lead technical investigations and provide solution options for complex issues during delivery or on live services.
    • Alignment with Enterprise Architecture: Ensure consistency with Vodacom’s enterprise and integration architecture standards across all emerging platforms and FinTech ecosystems.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive documentation, process improvements, and ways-of-working initiatives to enhance solution architecture practices.
    • Stakeholder Management: Provide specialised and technical support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT
    • Postgraduate qualifications (Desirable)
    • 8+ years experience in Technology Architecture and Systems
    • Extensive experience in managing an architecture team
    • Extensive with Domain Architecture and Design
    • Extensive understanding of TOGAF Framework
    • Extensive knowledge of:
    • Fixed data communication technologies [including SD-WAN, MPLS, IP VPN technologies]
