    Provide leadership and drive performance excellence at the Palletizing departmentResponsible for performance measurement and control for all palletizing operationsResponsible for Asset Management i.e. equipment reliability, equipment performanceResponsible for palletizing Cost Management i.e.raw material usageResponsible for people capability building and continuous improvement initiativesIn addition, the Palletizing Front Line Manager must have the ability to lead process improvement projects in order to deliver better than plan resultsFurthermore, the Palletizing Front Line Manager needs to manage, control and report daily, weekly and monthly department performance with regards to cost, quality, delivery and morale, supports all NPDs in palletizing as well as all other Palletizing related projectsAnalyse the weekly direct cost variance report for palletizing raw materials (Stretch wrap, sealing tape) and reconcile previous production week performance to standardPropose changes/improvements to the palletizing area where Safety and Palletizing performance are compromised.

    Education/Experience

    • Tertiary qualification in Production/Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering or related field Certified
    • Technician Previous managerial/ supervisory experience is advantageous Computer literate in MS Office Good Report writing skills Decision making Managing performance in terms of people and equipment Sound technical skills Problem solving skills Info Systems:
    • must be able to document and track info & understand production systems Safety Awareness:

    Marketing Director SADC

    Job description

    Marketing Lead:

    • Member of Simba LT team
    • Define and execute AOP for SADC markets
    • Thorough consumer analysis, opportunities (demand spaces / megatrends)
    • Develop brand algorithm and financial targets
    • Senior alignment across Category & BU

    Brand communication and activation:

    • Brand guardian, ensuring consistent and strong execution / communications across SA (and SADC)
    • Develop and execute all brand communications and activations, leveraging Category strategy and ammunition. Includes a full activation package for all innovation

    Innovation strategy and execution:

    • Steer all innovation through local commercialisation process (steps / gates).
    • Overcome key roadblocks through cross-functional team leadership.
    • Ownership of innovation launch. Ensure long-term consumer & commercial viability.
    • Ensures innovation is scale, incremental and profitable to unlock scale incremental growth

    Team alignment, leadership and capability building:

    • Lead senior, cross functional, global, category and BU alignment to SADC opportunities and needs
    • Translate strategies into plans that can be effectively executed
    • Actively identify and execute opportunities to share shares knowledge and skills with others to build broader capability
    • Category financials
    • Deliver and own Brand Financials
    • Complete top-level market business reviews (as for AOPs)
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business or Marketing
    • Minimum 10 years experience in FMCG / CPG
    • Strong financial acumen and basic understanding of accounting
    • Ability and knowledge of managing Budgets
