Our client, a multinational software vendor is seeking a number of .NET Developers to join their team in Cape Town on a permanent basis.

We are open to applicants with anything from 2 to 10 years’ experience.

Required Experience

• At least 2 years’ software development experience
• A Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• In depth, professional experience of .NET (C#) development.
• Exposure to RESTful Web Services.
• Professional experience of integration technologies & frameworks.
• Exposure to JavaScript and any associated MVC frameworks would be advantageous.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Job description

Our client, a multinational vendor is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg on a permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible pre-sales support, consultancy, supervision of engineers and partner/end-user training around Frames, Closures, Fibre Guide Systems, Cabinets, FTTx etc.

Key Requirements:

• Upwards of 5 years’ experience with FTTx space.
• Excellent English presentation skills are a must.
• Hands on, technical skills are essential. Ideally applicants should have come from an engineering background with hands on exposure to splicing, panels, datacenters etc.
• Excellent client facing skills, with experience of pre-sales and/or technical consulting.
• Proven ability in managing more junior staff.
• Knowledge of the applicable industry standards for fibre is a must.
• Project Management skills and/or experience is preferred.
• A University degree from a recognised institution.
• Applicants must be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time.
