    Supervisor Production III

    Job description

    Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Supervisor Production III at their Essential Foods: Krugersdorp Bakery. The successful candidate will supervise the activities of a group of skilled and semi-skilled employees engaged in performing a variety of production or assembly operations. Responsible for the training of controllers and some supervisors. Normally reports to Unit HOD.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Controlled & reported product quality parameters.
    • Controlled product & production processes.
    • Optimised people, plant, machinery and equipment.
    • Controlled raw material stock levels.
    • Ensured safety, health & hygiene.
    • Managed team.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 years managerial experience within the manufacturing / production environment.
    • HACCP, GMP's, health, safety and hygiene compliance.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Degree / National Diploma in Production / Operations Management or Engineering.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Leadership skills.
    • Sound understanding and application of safety, health & hygiene.
    • Sound understanding of controlled Food manufacturing production processes.
    • Computer skills including SAP and MS Office.

    Miller I (Wheat)

    Job description

    Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Miller I (Wheat) at their Essential Foods: Grains, Krugersdorp Mill. The successful candidate will supervise the activities of a group of employees /controllers engaged in performing a variety of milling routines. Responsible for the training of new employees as well as the training in safety procedures. Normally reports to Unit Supervisor.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Controlled grist & product quality parameters.
    • Compiled and executed milling & packaging shift plan and controlled wheat intake & milling processes for shift.
    • Controlled raw material & finished stock levels & rotation for shift.
    • Controlled and optimised people, mill, machinery and equipment - also maintained the mill, machinery and equipment.
    • Ensured safety, heath, hygiene and pest management and managed team.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    Four to five years Wheat Milling experience.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Relevant National Training Certificate.
