PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

IT & DPO Intern

• Assist in the day-to-day Data Privacy Activities
• Maintain awareness of privacy related laws, guidance and best practice.
• Assist with privacy assessments, records of processing, owner identification/management, Data Subjects Requests, incident/breach management details.
• Assist with the creation and distribution of training materials and privacy/security related communications throughout the businesses.
• Assist in maintaining a tracker of compliance activity.
• Act as point of contact to Data Privacy Change Champions and the business 
• Prepare and / or maintain functional, technical and user documentation such as Data Flow Diagrams etc.
• Business Analysis activities to improve the existing systems and for the creation of new solutions
• Assist with producing User Acceptance Test Cases and Scenarios
• Create user guides and manuals to assist end-users in utilising technology effectively
• Successfully complete the company selected and SETA approved learnership
