    1 X National Fumigation Manager - Based in Gauteng

    Requirements:

    The Fumigation Manager serves as the technical expert and is responsible for developing and implementing the fumigation line of business. Working with respective Fumigation Branches, the manager ensures that fumigation proposals are compliant, technically sound, and priced appropriately. As the RISA expert in fumigation, ensures appropriate licensing and training for technicians and certifies that the appropriate equipment and products are being transported and utilized in accordance with Country and Rentokil Global regulations.

    Operational Focus Areas:

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with fumigation branches to advance the Fumigation Line of Business. This role is a supportive/consultative one with authority role regarding safety, quality and final approval on unique or larger customer opportunities. 
    • Work with the Marketing department to determine service offerings, market opportunities and niche opportunities. Provide the technical support needed in the development of marketing information and materials. Develop and edit proposal models, contracts and documents associated with work performance. This includes the regulatory approval or compliance of South Africa. 
    • Assist with creating pricing models and formulas to insure proper profitability; organizing them into simplified models to allow for more “field level” pricing. 
    • Establish the protocols of fumigation to minimize risk and to comply with all regulatory agencies. Insure compliance with all Dept. of Transport requirements for transporting fumigants. 
    • Develop and audit training programs to insure that personnel are qualified to perform fumigation. Ensure that training meets manufacturer and regulatory requirements. 
    • Monitor and coordinate the scheduling of larger fumigation jobs to make sure the availability of trained personnel and equipment is appropriate. 
    • Conduct audits at the fumigation branch level to substantiate proper licensing and registration of applicators and businesses. Periodically audit the completion of fumigation services to insure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. 
    • Establish and maintain relationships with fumigant manufacturers and providers to secure supply chain.
    • Responsible for the mandated material reporting and accountability programs.
    • Ensure safe storage of fumigants at fumigation branches.
    • Represent RIMO on the Fumigation Working Group (FWG) under the leadership of Rentokil Technical Manager 
    • Representation of RIMO and Rentokil Global in the maintenance of the International Fumigation guidelines.
    • Represent RIMO within Mozambique for fumigation matters such as Legislative initiatives 
    • Is responsible for revenue growth and gross profitability of the Fumigation Line of Business.
    • Responsible for fumigation branches Health & Safety awareness and compliance of safety procedures

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum Matric Certificate/ Tertiary Qualification Preferred
    • Full NCPC qualification
    • Fumigation of Commodities Qualification
    • Rentokil BPCA Fumigation qualification
    • Registered Pest Control Operator with P-Number
    • Above average Pest Control Product knowledge and Technical Skills.
    • Above average presentation skills
    • Qualified as a Fumigator-in-charge with a minimum of 4-5 years experience performing and directing
    • fumigations i.e. Methyl Bromide and Phosphine
    • Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs in small and large group forums
    • Must have excellent knowledge of ISPM15 regulations
    • Knowledge of Country and Rentokil fumigation regulations
    • Sales experience in selling a fumigation
    • Must have knowledge of Rentokil Global Regulations governing Fumigation Operations.
    • Computer Literate

    The Senior Pest Control Technician is responsible for managing the relationship between Rentokil and the prospective client through the delivery of high quality pest control and initial services suitable to the client’s expectation.     • Requires valid, unendorsed code 08 drivers licence
    • Highly developed communication skills (Written/Verbal/Non-verbal)
    • Requires good time management skills to efficiently and effectively perform daily duties
    • Good physical health

    • Matric or equivalent certificate
    • Fully qualified (NCPC) or PMA/PCSIB and registered with Department of Agriculture (P-Number)

    IT Support Analyst

    Requirements:

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Providing technical support, resolving incidents via telephone and email.
    • Supporting users remotely using remote management and other collaboration tools.
    • Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhering to all service management principles.
    • Taking ownership of user problems and being pro-active when dealing with user issues.
    • Logging all incidents on the service desk toolset (ServiceNow).
