Job description

We are looking for a Temp Powders Operator to join the Operations Team in South Africa. The purpose of the position is to establish procedures and guidelines by delivering production orders assigned by the Team Leaders and to perform manual tasks of a production process. In this exciting role you will

Production Operation You will perform basic operation of designated machines and production equipment such as blenders, sieves, spray dryer systems etc. You will collect intermediates or raw materials, move and load it into production machines. You will understand bill of materials and/or formula specifications. You will accurately read control instruments and accurate records for all operations as required. You will assist in performing in-process quality testing to ensure customer specifications are met.

Process Improvement You will proactively identify process improvements. You will participate in Lean activities in designated areas.

Your professional profile includes

• Matric
• At least 1 year of experience in flavour, ingredient, food or chemical manufacturing preferred
• Valid High reach Forklift License required
• Basic PC skills, including competency in MS Office products
