Undertake customer and large project financial risk and business plan analysis assignments
Create detailed financial & credit risk analysis reports by region, country and by customer (as required) to support regional, country, relationship business leaders in their market strategy
Review and monitoring of internal credit ratings and credit line risk assessments
Advise the Business Line on broad risk issues including; of sovereign risk, industry & market risk, financing solutions, bank relationships, capital structure analysis as well as risk mitigation and credit enhancement methods in relation to vendor and bank financing solutions
Work closely with credit risk colleagues and customer sales and finance department in country/region/HQ in order to deliver sound advice as part of the decision making process on acceptable risk to enhance business healthy growth
Job Qualification:
A minimum of 5 years of related work experience, preferably within an international bank (in debt and or TMT or equity research would be an advantage) or company in the telecommunications industry including Cisco, HP, GE, IBM,DELL
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, an effective team worker with proven success in delivering winning solutions and be able to demonstrate a track record of consistently meeting (and exceeding) challenging business goals.
An expert knowledge of interpreting financial statements. business plan analysis, financial forecasts, credit and financial risk assessment and financial solutions is essential
A good knowledge and understanding of the risk issues applying to the telecommunications industry
Must be able to work under pressure under your own initiative and with minimum supervision and be able to deliver accurate and quality reports within tight deadlines
A degree or post graduate qualification in Business, Banking or Finance / Accounting / Economics, MBA or similar is required (B Comm., BBS, etc)
Familiarity and proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc,,)
Fluency in English essential and Mandarin is preferred
Based in South Africa. However, this position would require overseas travel to support all the SAR region(including 27 countries ) Huawei business.
