Senior Legal Advisor - Investment Banking at Intrepid HR

Job description

Our client is a market leader in cross border M&A and Leveraged Finance and seek an experienced “Corporate and Commercial” or “Banking and Finance” lawyer to play a lead role assisting this deal team structure innovative deals into Africa and internationally into the USA, Europe and Australasia.

This is a proactive legal strategy role working with the leading international law firms (who do the drafting) and Investment Banks as counterparties and sits directly alongside the MD for this highly successful business. You will have extensive client contact and be a key participant in “idea generation” for these high value and high yield deals.

To secure this high profile and lucrative role you need a minimum of 7+ years experience with a top law firm and have a deep track record of working on sophisticated M&A, Leveraged Finance, Private Equity or large structured BEE deals

Specialist knowledge in “equity financing and limited recourse share cover funding” would be particularly useful as this team are market leaders in innovative financing solutions
