CORE DESCRIPTION:

This role entails the cross-functional involvement in the business decision making, strategy formation & implementation as well as enabling business unit clients to meet their financial key performance indicators (KPI) that are linked to group strategy. Responsible to assist business units Executive Management Team as a Finance Business Partner, focusing on the application of sound financial decision making and reporting, with the aim of accounting for all business activities, safeguarding all assets and improving return on investment and profitability in the BU. To provide the process and tools to effectively coordinate, manage, identify, compile and recommend the annual capital- and operating budget to the BU top management and interpret, report and advise on results within the period required. Manage all Business Cases within supporting BU as well as high level interfacing and coordination with Capital Allocation Management Team (CAMT), finance team, relevant project managers and business owners to ensure business targets are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a 3-year Finance degree/ diploma (NQF level 6). Preference will be given to candidates with an Honours degree in Finance.

EXPERIENCE:

Overall 7 Years financial experience is required including capital and operating budgeting process. Of the 7 years 3 years should be relevant measurement/ tracking experience, 2 years business case management experience and 2 years on management level.
