    Staffing Manager

    Employment type: Full-time permanent

    If you’re someone who wants to make a difference in people’s lives, this is the job for you. We are seeking a talented Staffing Manager to join our growing global organization. You will be the direct line of contact for staffed VentureWeb associates, responsible for the delivery of all duties pertaining to coaching, support and management. This will require working cross functionally with our internal teams and serving as the main point of contact for both clients and associates. As their Staffing Manager, your associates will be looking to you to help ensure they have everything needed to succeed and enjoy a rewarding professional experience. Your internal stakeholders will rely on you to ensure both our associates and clients experience

    What you will do:

    • Community and Retention:
      • Ensure your associates have a clear understanding of our clients’ expectations and have everything they need to succeed.
      • Work together with associates and the client to address any issues, questions or concerns of any nature as they arise.
      • Work through client feedback and assist associates in forming a plan to excel in their role.
      • Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with individual associates to maintain oversight into important developments in their role, and a good understanding of their day-to-day responsibilities.
      • Identify areas where further tailored support or learning would be helpful, and help to coordinate.
      • Contribute to a community where associates feel a strong sense of support and belonging with VentureWeb through a variety of touch points and communication channels, e.g. newsletter, in person events, webinars, etc.
      • Celebrate important events with associates and provide support in times of need.
      • Communicate business news and updates.
      • Stay knowledgeable and up to date with VentureWeb’s contractual and service agreement documents, that include the terms and conditions of associate employment agreements (e.g. individual details relating to notice period, paid time off, paid medical leave, etc.).
      • Maintain people and account records in a tracking database to effectively manage assigned placements and assist in decision making and handling challenges and escalations.
      • Coordinate with the appropriate internal teams and divisions (i.e. Finance, People Operations, etc.) to manage associate details, changes and placement updates.
      • Manage associate overtime claims and leave claims using an HR software database.
      • Review and create SOWs based on client service needs.
      • Maintain reporting and documentation as necessary.
    • Business Support:
      • Collaborate with other departments to implement new systems, processes and procedures relevant to your associates.
      • Together with other teams, identify areas of opportunity for growth and new services, and carry out special projects that serve the growth of the business.
    • Reduce risk in the business by:
      • Reviewing associate hours to remediate overbilling, incorrect billing or unplanned overtime billing.
      • Identifying associates who do not fit the model and – in extreme cases – advising on whether such associates should be provided further opportunities with VentureWeb.
      • Proactively managing rate discussions with clients and associates in compliance with overall departmental pricing standards and with remuneration processes.

    The qualifications you will need:

    • A recognized degree or diploma in a related discipline (e.g. Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Education, Communications) will be beneficial.
    • 5-8 years of professional experience is required with at least 2 years’ experience in people and/or project management.
    • Experience working in a global environment is ideal.
    • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM.
    • Experience working in a digital marketing environment considered an asset.
    • Proven ability to build and manage relationships and projects virtually.
    • Demonstrated experience in prioritizing and managing several critical projects simultaneously.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent problem solving skills.
