Business Analyst (Financial Services - Development)
The Business Analyst is the link between the Business and the R&D team and will manage all functional needs from writing functional specifications and designing solutions.
The Business Analyst will work in our agile development environment and work iteratively with developers and quality assurance. As such, a firm grounding in the software delivery is required.
The Business Analyst will work closely with our implementation team to ensure new business requirements are captured accurately and are prioritised.
This role is multifaceted and requires a candidate with excellent asset management and product delivery knowledge complemented by good technical understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with the head of product management to assist in the definition of the strategy
Analysis of business requirements and priority setting for the development of a best in class asset management solution
Agreeing and assisting with the creation of new business requirements
Leading the sprint planning process
Presenting recently delivered capabilities internally and externally
Communicating and reporting effectively with all stakeholders, users and team members, providing regular reassurance regarding progress.
Presenting comprehensive solution demonstrations to existing clients and prospects
Position Requirements:
Front, middle and back office systems experience from either an end user perspective or as a software provider
Have experience in analysis and writing functional specifications for financial market products
Will be well organized and understand the product development process
Strong expertise with exchange traded products
An effective team player who can work with colleagues and associates daily in various global locations
Committed to delivering and achieving high quality work
Good organisational and time management skills, ability to effectively handle deadlines
