As R&D Manager you will lead a small team working on Bakery Innovation projects for leading retail and food service customers. We are looking for a real expert in the Bakery sector who keeps abreast of all the latest global trends across ingredients, technology and manufacturing processes. You'll have a proven track record in successful product launches in the Bakery category, able to effectively land challenging projects through your tenacity, expertise and problem solving ability. Naturally curious with high standards you will be passionate about creating the next wow product to hit the shelves and constantly looking to improve and perfect existing ranges to meet ever-changing consumer demands.

This R&D Manager position in based in South Africa and is part of a global food business. You'll work closely with your international colleagues, tapping into their knowledge and trends within other markets. We are happy to consider those already based in the region, those looking to return and candidates open to relocation. Some travel (not excessive) would be required in this role.
