JOB LOCATION: Pietermaritzburg

Minimum Requirements

• Matric pass with minimum B in Matric Maths and Physical Science SG C if HG Maths and Physics
• N5 (Electrical / Mechanical )

• Be prepared to work in industry in both engineering and operations environment,
• Have strong technical ability and problem solving skills – root cause analysis
• Have Strong Interpersonal Skills – Engage With Other Team Members
• Have analytical ability to do basic calculations
• Have an understanding of safe working procedures
• Be able to drive and complete projects
• Be able to improve problematic equipment issues
• Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Be competent in Microsoft Word and Excel , Projects is additional
• Be able to contact suppliers and make decisions
• To influence effective maintenance
• The Candidate Must Also Be
• Safety Minded – avoid any workplace injuries
• Pro-active

Team player

• Fluent and able to communicate and listen well
• Prepared to work at heights, noisy and dusty environment
• Able to work shift and extended hours (when required)
• Able to work on Microsoft Word , Excel or projects when needed
• Highly analytical and able to work hands on
• Able to work under pressure
• Respectful of others but can also hold people accountable
