    Android Developer

    Job description

    The Role:

    As an Android developer, you will contribute to the ongoing development of Estalea's R&D projects. All mobile applications will be developed in Xamarin (with native UI) which is our cross-platform development technology of choice.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop Android mobile application layer
    • Design & develop Android UI components
    • Contribute to the incremental improvement of the platform
    • Assist in identifying, classifying and resolving bugs
    • Peer/code reviews for all stories
    • Mentoring, contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s skillset

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
    • 3+ yrs developing native Android applications
    • C# experience not required but can be an advantage
    • Solid knowledge of modern Agile principles and practices (Scrum)
    • Familiarity with Mobile development patterns
    • Android Studio
    • Superb communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Ability to function well in a collaborative team environment
    • Willing to learn Xamarin
    • Java
    • Android platform
    • XML & Json
    • Git
    • Gradle
