Goals/Mission

To providey an efficient and effective mechanical engineering and technical drawing service to the customer, sales, contracts and production from quotation to order stage.

What are the responsibilities of the Role?

Preparation of:

• General arrangement drawings
• Assembly drawings
• Detailed manufacturing drawings
• Quotation requests for components
• General drawing office work:
• Maintenance of drawing lists/schedules
• General drawing office administration
• Technical support to sales during tender stage
• Technical support to customers - solution optimisation
• Engineering quality control, eg QCPs & inspection

What Do I need to qaulify?

• Minimum Grade 12 and Technical College (N Engineering Studies mainly in the mechanical field)
• General engineering production processes / Industrial gearbox knowledge would be advantageous.
• 3 - 5 Years Drawing Office Experience (essential)
• Cad drawing experience, preferably AutoCAD and Solid Edge (essential)
• Must have experience working in a project environment
