    Job description

    Job Summary

    The Impro internal sales position is tasked with providing overall sales support to the Impro sales team. This includes identifying / qualifying potential new customers, providing support to ensure that existing customer needs are met. Other tasks may be assigned as deemed appropriate / needed by the Impro team.

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Include the following, other duties may be assigned:
    • Manage and sell products to new and current customers with the objective of increasing sales and meeting sales quotas.
    • Respond to requests for information or requests for quote from website visitors, e-mail, and telephone contacts.
    • Identify / qualify potential new customers. Provide business development with a complete and timely summary of findings on prospective customers.
    • Follow-up on leads from tradeshows, the website, e-mail, etc.
    • Provide quotation to customers and support Impro sales team in the quotation process
    • Assist in building a sales pipeline to ensure consistent sales results.
    • Perform sales activities and negotiate / close business.
    • Monitor sales & order reports.
    • Provide trend data to business development. Work with business development to create an action plan on potential areas of growth or to address areas of concern.
    • Prepare purchase and /or other customer reports as required.
    • Gather forecast data from customer's to insure a steady flow / availability of the appropriate products.
    • Independently create product awareness.
    • Assists with the development of objectives, strategies, and tactics for the market.
    • Management of internal pricing/quote template for all Sales staff.
    • Preparing of monthly Exco/MPR reports and graphs for management.
    • Must be able to read and interpret building plans, Tender documents, BOQ's and RFI's in order to specify our product correctly.
    • Must have the ability to assist customers in building/designing a solution that will effectively satisfy the customers' needs and requirements.
    • Remains knowledgeable of the company's products to facilitate sales efforts.
    • Follow-up with customers and prospects to ensure customer satisfaction with information provided, products purchased, etc.
    • Take responsibility for all actions and resolving open issues selecting and using the resources that are available.
    • Assist in the development / implementation of sales and marketing programs aimed at Impro customers.
    • Support and maximize the productivity of the Impro sales team.

    Education, Experience, And General Profile

    • Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in sales, territory sales or customer service.
    • Minimum of three years' experience in the access control marketplace.
    • Proven and verifiable track record of successful quota achievement.
    • Effective sales skills and up-to-date telecommunications and cold-call skills.
    • Effective and proven contact management database skills, preferably CRM tool knowledge
    • Demonstrated time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizations skills.
    • Must have good reasoning ability.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and complete short-term and/or long-term tasks and project assignments on time.
    • Experience working in a team-oriented atmosphere.
    • Must have the ability to work with and deal with various languages and cultures.
    • Professional appearance and presentation is required.
    • Must demonstrate customer focused mentality.
    • Must have a good attention to detail.
    • Language Skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to read and interpret and revenue reports, technical specifications, instructional documents, etc.
    • Computer Skills
    • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Experience with CRM tools such MS Dynamics orSalesforce.com
    • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
