PURPOSE OF POSITION

To perform fraud checks on incoming credit applications. Verify authentication of information and supporting documentation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fraud Investigation: Plan and conduct investigations into allegations of fraud of varying nature and complexity, identify and utilise appropriate identification techniques and technologies to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness
• Fraud Management: Manage workflow requirements
• Fraud Prevention: Assist in identification of control weaknesses
• Reporting & Standards: Inform all stakeholders of findings
• Client Service satisfaction: Adhere to the service level agreement with stakeholders

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 2 years working experience within the Financial Services Industry with knowledge of detection and prevention of fraud.
• Good communication and written skills.
• General Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Grade 12, with a qualification in fraud prevention/detection with expertise in document examination and signature analysis.
