    Regional Account Manager

    Job description

    Requirement:

    Customer

    • Ensure customer metrics are achieved through negotiation and delivery of regional elements of joint business plan
    • Drive service levels with incremental improvements by working closely with the customer
    • Tailored promotional strategy delivered in line with customer expectations and PepsiCo framework
    • Deliver Account 'Must Win Battles' through Account Plans
    • Execute pricing strategy in accounts and execute pack/price architecture changes
    • Grow share, range and distribution in line with specific account targets
    • Develop regional customer relationships
    • Manage trade-offs within customers for the greater benefit of PepsiCo
    • Improve Advantage Group Survey results in account base
    • Create a deep understanding of what is needed to execute account plans at regional and store level. Work closely with ROM to ensure this happens.

    Finance

    • Accountable for regional volume, revenue and profit delivery within customer base.
    • Accountable for regional budget management - within account base
    • Accountable for optimizing D&A spend within customer base

    Process

    • Execute objectives set by NAM
    • Manage and enhance workflows and processes
    • Deliver changes in order to optimize processes, systems, policies and procedures
    • Direct the implementation of change and innovation initiated by the organisation
    • Attend Competition Law training and ensure adhered to at all times
    • Reduction in claims
    • Deals - timing and process adherence
    • Demand Planning and iS&OP process and ways of working embedded
    • Provide guidelines to direct reports defining the impact of change and any new resulting requirements
    • Analyze business: identify and manage trends. Formulate action plans.
    • Manage customer and people queries
    • Ensure audit compliance
    • Manage Health and Safety for area of responsibility

    People

    • Drive the right people centric culture, understanding each role within the region so as to collaborate in providing exceptional service to the customer and excellent execution in store
    • Mentor, coach and identify learning opportunities to ensure the continuous development of people and self - embed culture of feedback through 360's
    • Help lead change through coaching and development within regional team
    • Tertiary qualification as minimum
    • Previous FMCG marketing experience (5 years minimum within accounts management)
    • People management experience (5 years).

    General management skills

    • Mature, self-confident and self-managed personality
    • Strong can do attitude, resourceful
    • Good strategic thinker, with business acumen
    • High level of integrity
