    Senior Manager Infrastructure

    Job description

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Leverage industry expertise and knowledge to ensure that value-for-money audits (integration), diagnostic audits, regulatory audits and performance audits are planned, executed and reported on in the most economical, effective and efficient manner.
    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions on insights, risk and knowledge of the business and industry to relevant stakeholder (internal and external).
    • Build and maintain strategic and value-adding partnerships with key stakeholders within the AGSA and at the auditees to ensure support in the audit process during both integration and stand-alone audits.
    • Manage the team by evaluating the capabilities of employees, identifying gaps and taking action to build their skills and by implementing relevant talent and development interventions.
    • Conduct research in the area of expertise to influence future identification and development of audit themes.
    • Manage the budget for the centre to ensure adherence to the required financial performance standards.

    Experience

    • At least 8 years’ industry-specific experience in the infrastructure sector, of which 5 years must be at management level
    • Must have an appreciation of the dynamics of the public sector
    • Must be in tune with wider socio-economic developments within South Africa and globally and be able to contextualise and leverage this knowledge to provide strategic direction to audit engagements and the business unit
    • Must be able to articulate and market a value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
