Intermediate and Senior Support Technician at Dial a Nerd

Job description

Dial a Nerd Business are hiring intermediate and senior technicians with excellent communication, trouble shooting and time management skills.

• A successful candidate must be passionate about technology and passionate about helping people. Being able to communicate clearly and manage client expectation is a must.
• Candidates are required to have their own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Senior candidates must have server and services deployment experience.

Technician Experience should include:

• Basic Networking, Ethernet & Wi-Fi etc.;
• Basic Internet i.e. ADSL, LTE etc.;
• Printing and Scanning;
• Folder Sharing; Troubleshooting; Email, Diagnose and resolve desktop related problems. PST, SMTP, POP errors etc.; Computer backup, format and reinstall (BFR);
• Smart device setup and maintenance (Ipad, Android, Syncing etc);
• Software installation;
• Windows Support XP - 10; Mac OS;
• Basic Linux Support;
• Computer hardware;
• DNS (Basic / Dynamic);
• MS Office / Open Office (All);
• User Administration (AD new users / passwords etc);
• Anti-Virus and virus removal;
• Pastel Support;
• Backup Monitoring;
• Basic Office 365 administration;
• MS Server and Services deployments including Azure or/and Office 365.
