    Strategic Partnership Coordinator

    Job description

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    • hearX Group is passionate about making listening to music safe for everyone, everywhere. We believe that everyone’s favourite song can be enjoyed at a safe listening level whilst conserving your hearing. We want to have a positive outcome on communication abilities and decrease hearing loss as individuals get older. We aim to provide products that positively and gamefully create awareness of safe listening habits that encourage the enjoyment of music and other sounds individuals are exposed to.
    • We are currently seeking a highly motivated candidate that will play an integral role in establishing, developing and nurturing partnerships with various industry role-players and stakeholders, nationally and internationally. The Strategic Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for the account management of newly established partnerships and contribute to business development opportunities in expanding the value proposition of our products to our end customers.
    • The successful candidate needs to be agile to accommodate for high-stress and often dynamic situations and should be willing to travel. Our coffee is great, our team even better but most importantly we are in the business of changing lives.

    Responsibilities

    • Understand the current roadmap and details of our product suite.
    • Research and keep abreast of current and future technology trends, key players and emerging businesses primarily within the fast moving and evolving hearing solutions, earphone/headphone and music industries
    • Identify and establish strategic relationships with potential partners such as technology companies, developers, research labs, accelerators, incubators, etc.
    • Identify new opportunities to grow established partnerships and unlock additional value to us and the end customer.
    • Present new ideas for partner growth opportunities to the CEO and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborate and coordinate among internal teams, including project managers, analysts, engineers and marketing individuals to launch, manage and action partnerships. Communicate final recommendations for growing partner relationships and sales opportunities.
    • Drive partner strategy and engagement based on data-driven findings. Set, track and report on partner performance metrics.

    Education and/or work experience requirements:

    • Bachelor degree in engineering, sciences or business (advantageous if degree is held in MBA)
    • 5+ years of working experience in strategy consulting or partner services capacity with a documented track record focused on commercial product development combined with software solution development
    • Experience in technology commercialisation and working with early stage business ventures and achievement of significant revenue growth.
    • Entrepreneurial focus with a determination to succeed in an innovative, fast-paced environment.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytic skills.
    • Self-starter and hardworking individual with a drive for achievement. Quick thinker and fast learner.
    • Proven ability to negotiate and work with high level executives. Have the ability to navigate large organizations and build meaningful contacts.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to cope within stressful and dynamic environments.
    • Team player with a strong focus on taking personal ownership.
