Job description

 MAIN PURPOSE

The MI Developer is responsible to produce accurate and timeous standard and ad-hoc Management Information reporting for WFS to support the business areas with decision making and operational management in their areas.

KEY COMPETENCIES

Participate in analysis and design sessions Develop the complete ETL solution for the MI Team Communicate progress with development Produce technical and user documentation. Create Stored Procedures and Views (Non Negotiable) Knowledge Sharing Support the MI Team with DWH solutions Communicate with development teams  

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

ETL (Non Negotiable) PL / SQL SSIS SQL (Non Negotiable) Data Warehousing Qlikview / BI Tool Knowledge (Non Negotiable) Previous Database Developer Financial Background  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION   

Relevant 3 year tertiary or NQF aligned qualification 

  EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  

• Good understanding of data warehousing and analytical methodologies and solution delivery.
• Have BI Tool Knowledge and Strong problem solving skills Excellent communication skills with the emphasis on understanding business requirements and developer

requirements

• Ability to work within a team Effective planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
