JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for planning, execution, and successful implementation of projects according to the defined scope, quality standards, strict deadlines and within budget. This includes
coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. This role will also be responsible to define the
project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout the lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 5 - 8 years relevant experience in /Project Management
• Extensive experience in managing in a cross-functional team environment
• Skilled in managing several team projects simultaneously
• PMP certification
• Experience in varied project management methodologies and knowledge of current
• project management trends
• Proven track record of successfully implementing

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing requirements.
• Manage resources in conjunction with functional managers.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope.
• Effectively manage project risk through mitigation planning.
• Monitor and report on project progress, including schedule, cost, risk management and change control.
• Effectively apply project management methodology.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on-going basis as part of an effective communications plan.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project.
• Effectively manage the internal and external project resources, promoting productive teamwork in line with project delivery.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project lifecycle.
• Conduct project post-implementation reviews and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements and provide input into the Benefits Harvesting project stage.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

• Business case preparation
• Understands cost to completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
• Co-ordination with Benefits Harvesting

COMMUNICATION

• Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
• Holds regular status meetings with project team.
• Inform CTO of project progress and cost status.
• Communicate project status and progress to key stakeholders.
• Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Build, develop and grow any business relationship vital to the success of the project.

TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING

• Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
• Understands Internet, Intranet and Extranet technologies.
• Maintains an awareness of new and emerging technologies
