Exhibition/Events Manager at Spintelligent

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Shape and implement the events’ overall strategy in order to produce the commercial goals of the event
• Ensure profitability of events – creating event budgets and keeping overall costs in control.
• Set and manage event milestones effectively in order to keep the event on the correct timelines
• Lead the onsite team to ensure the smooth running of the event.
• Key account management and partnership development
• Provide timeous reports and analysis
• From market research, select, invite & secure high level speakers to cover all the key topics
• Plan, monitor and help execute operations at the delivery site
• Develop key accounts management relationships with large commercial entities
• Develop a campaign strategy in collaboration with the Sales Team in order to meet and exceed budget
• Maintain telephone contact with key sponsorship contacts to establish their promotional strategies
• Monitor marketing campaigns and contribute to all aspects of marketing the events

Requirements:

• 2 – 4 years of proven event and project management exprience
• Sound Trade Exhibition experience
• Previous P & L accountability on projects
• Valid passport and willing to travel into Africa
