    Engineering Lead (DevOps & Agile)

    Job description

    Key Result Areas

    • Facilitates and delivers training and knowledge sharing sessions for engineers and other interested parties.
    • Works together with the technical leads supporting the developers for all people related matters.
    • Communication with multiple stakeholders who have various levels of technical understanding regarding engineering related principles and practices.
    • Builds Company brand in the technology community, including speaking at industry meet-ups and conferences, participating in online technology forums, etc.
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering paradigms.
    • Expert understanding of various software languages and frameworks
    • Extensive knowledge of Agile software development practices (such as TDD, CI and CD)
    • Agility
    • Capability to simultaneously accept and adapt to change, as well as, remaining effective and task focused in a fast-paced environment
    • People Development
    • Capability to foster learning or development of self and others through coaching, managing performance and mentoring

    Role Requirements

    • BSC or B.Eng with a preference for a focus in computers such as BSC Comp Sci / BSC IT/ BSC Information systems
    • 5-8 years of software development experience, including technical Agile & DevOps practises and architecture
    • 2-3 years leadership and coaching experience
    • DevOps practises
    • Experience in enterprise integration
