Project Manager at Kurtosys Systems

Job description

Introduction The Client Services team is responsible for the management of all Kurtosys client projects (both new clients and changes to ongoing contracts). Projects vary in size and complexity, and could involve any of the Kurtosys product offerings, including Client Reporting solutions, Web Content Management systems, and Fund Tool products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, drive, and ultimately own implementation activities for multiple client projects running concurrently
• Gathering and understanding all client requirements during the initial phase of the project
• Production of key documents, including Project Initiation, Project plan, Business Requirements, Test plans
• Provide proactive input into the continual improvement of Kurtosys processes and solutions
• Work will vary based on project requirements – sometimes PM/BA work, sometimes BA work only. If technically skilled then the PM/BA may also have the opportunity to help with configuration.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of IT terminology gained ideally through an IT related degree or relevant work experience
• Requirements elicitation and documentation
• Ability to deliver successful and timely implementation projects with a proven track record
• Ability to host and drive client workshops
• Drive for self-development and a desire to be an active participant in the growth of Kurtosys

Preferred Skills

• Asset Management industry experience including market data
• Technical (development) background with the ability to communicate directly with technical implementation team members and understand technical issues
• Experience working in a scrum framework
• Experience delivering products similar to Kurtosys solutions
