    Digital Marketing Manager

    Job description

    CloudSmiths, the largest Salesforce Reseller and System Integrator in Africa, is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager. The role of the Digital Marketing Manager is to oversee the digital marketing strategy and complete the related execution of tasks for the company. If you live and breathe digital marketing, we want to talk to you! You will be required to develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels. You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution, with strong evidence of a high ROI.

    • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
    • Track conversion rates and make improvements to the website where necessary.
    • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns.
    • Utilise a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
    • Oversee the social media strategy for the company.
    • Manage online brand and product campaigns that raise brand awareness, and that evidence a strong ROI.
    • Be responsible for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.
    • Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
    • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
    • Design, build and maintain social media presence.
    • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
    • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
    • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
    • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
    • Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels.
    • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners where necessary.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
    • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role within an agency environment, with a proven track record of managing digital marketing projects for technology (software) clients.
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns. Experience of creating successful digital marketing campaigns across all channels, with strong ROI.
    • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice – particularly as it pertains to entering new markets.
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
    • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and a good working knowledge of the latest Google algorithms as well as Google Analytics.
    • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking CMS systems, including WordPress
    • Strong organisational skills.
    • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously.
