Job description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Business Analyst (Cash Device Monitoring - Proview) to be based in Bellville.

Purpose of the role:

• Liaise with business to formulate business specifications
• Create functional descriptions and technical specifications from business specifications
• Apply functional descriptions and technical specifications to steer the system development processes through linking internal and external IT technical resources to facilitate the successful implementation and maintenance of Proview.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

FTI Business Analysis Diploma and/or 3 year tertiary qualification (BTec degree or similar)

Experience

Minimum requirements: 

• At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in a technical and/or IT environment
• At least 3 years’ relevant work experience
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in an ITSM/ITIL capacity

Knowledge

Min: Detailed knowledge and understanding of:

• IT systems
• Understanding business process management, business requirements and translating these to specific technology requirements
• IT/Technical Business Analysis – interpretation of business rules and requirements for technical (IT) systems
• The financial industry
• Operational/Business Model Analysis
• Process Definition and Design
• Project management
