Job description

The Logistics employee is responsible for the daily logistic activities in South Africa. Reporting to the Manager Logistics Non-EU, located in the Netherlands.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Contribute in logistics planning, through the preparation of documents, reports and other activities involving aspects of storage, handling and distribution;
• checking accuracy on sales orders (delivery dates, p/o customer data);
• monitoring and follow up on inbound deliveries (from vendor and HQ The Netherlands) on ETA and required import documents;
• processing and follow up of customer sales orders (allocation of stock, creating outbound deliveries etc.);
• monitoring and follow up on return orders;
• checking accuracy stock positions;
• monitoring and report on the performance of the 3PL in regards to KPI’s;
• maintain daily contact with the 3PL.

Reports:

• Create Inbound and outbound forecast reports to inform 3pl warehouse;
• Analyze of stock reports.

Profile

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position;
• Experience within a logistic environment is a must;
• Experience in a brand space (clothing) environment is a plus;
• Independent, flexible, accurate and proactive attitude with a ‘can-do’ mentality;
• excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• experience with Microsoft (excel) is a must;
• experienced with Sap is a plus;
• in the possession of a valid passport;
• full time availability.
