    Constituent Assessor

    Job description

    This is an contract position, with workload based on demand. Only applications accompanied by a covering letter, career profile and a copy of highest qualifications will be considered, and only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.

    Purpose of the role:

    To conduct assessments in a fair and objective manner, and provide constructive, objective feedback to students within given deadlines, in alignment with the TowerStone Academic Assessment and Moderation Policies.

    Deliverables

    • Accurate assessment of Services SETA Portfolios of Evidence .
    • Constructive feedback to students to motivate grading and suggest improvements.
    • Proactive feedback to the Registrar on any inconsistencies or concerns.

    Expertise Required:

    • Constituent Assessor registered against the following Unit Standards: 119472, 13912, 14667, 242814, 242821, 9015 (linked to the Qualifications 57712 and 23654).
    • Preference will be given to candidates who reside in Cape Town.

    • Attention to Detail: Taking care to check every detail, ensuring that all work output is delivered professionally, and that any inconsistencies are resolved without impacting on client service.
    • Structured Thinking: Assimilating pieces of information from various sources and organising them into a logical user-friendly structure, and then maintaining the integrity of the structure, while adapting it to accommodate new elements over time, despite work pressure and deadlines.
    • Proactivity: Planning ahead to ensure accurate and timely delivery, and taking initiative e.g. giving suggestions regarding improved practices, processes and efficiencies.
