Job description

To contribute to the total health care needs and expectations of patients by delivering a service that meet the requirements and also the established standards and controls of a comprehensive Food and Patient Support Services to our clients.

This is a Category A position. All Category A applicants must read and understand Policy directive PD2011_005 Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination against specified diseases. All new recruits must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy.

• New recruits must provide evidence against specified diseases and comply with the requirements of this policy at their own cost prior to appointment.
•  Demonstrated experience in food preparation services and a knowledge of food preparation and hygiene.
•  Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to read and write, understand and carry out written instructions in English
•  Experience using electronic devices such as computers or iPads, or willingness to learn
•  Proven ability to work to a 7 day rotating roster timetable in order to meet deadlines
•  Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and commitment to the provision of high level quality and customer focused services
•  Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a member of a team.
•  Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety and Manual Handling Principles
