    Senior HR Practitioner - Learning and Development

    Job description

    Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting various entities with achieving the strategic training direction of the organisation.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    The incumbent will be responsible for various portfolios including;

    • Training & Development,
    • SETA Grant Management (Mandatory and Discretionary),
    • Skills Reporting and SETA stakeholder relationships.

    Educational Requirements

    • 3 Year degree, Training and Development, HRM diploma or an equivalent qualification
    • Experience Requirements
    • Hands-on experience in a Training Role and working with complex SETA grant projects
    • A thorough understanding of the Skills Development Act is essential
    • Knowledge of BBBEE Skills Development element will be advantageous
    • Dealing with (internal and external) training providers
    • Operating in a unionised and fast paced manufacturing environment
    • Working with a large diverse client base Skills & Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Above Average Computer skills (MS Office, Excel) - essential
    • Verbal and written skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Deadline driven
    • Planning and organising
